I scrolled past all that business about Zuko and am trying to forget the discussion around it because it didn't happen anywhere ever. It certainly never seeped into anything even remotely considered canon. Nope nope nope never ever never. It may have come up in the back of some random fanfic writer's mind at some point but then their sense kicked in and killed it with fire because they wanted to write GOOD fanfic. The end.

Yes, that would be a good example of the word obvious.

Ah, it is so good to be home. My comfortable clothes have been calling my name all day.

SCG - I'm not sure. I can't figure out why I have a DropBox icon on my desktop and then going to the internet (to the folder that my new employer invited me to) to do my work. Once I accept the folder invite can I just go to the icon? Or what is the point of the icon? So far it feels like its just there to take up space on my desktop.

[And I'm sort of a desktop nazi. I hate extra stuff on it. I delete all things possible. I don't have time to wait for it all to appear on the desktop!!!]

CL, I am glad to hear that the first steps are going well with your father. That is really great news.

I would love to read several pages and catch up on other things but I can not go further that 3 pages without that function freezing up. Forgive me if I miss something and give general hugs until I can. (((WS))) it sounds like you might need one.

I do believe the coyote is back. 'Cept this time she wants us to think she's from Chi-town. I guess I'll have to "scout" it out some more.

Ohhh yes, that was kind of confusing to me, too!

I have a Mac so I think it's set up a little bit differently on here. But... From what I understand, once you accept the invitation on the website, you should be able to access the folder/add things to it from the desktop icon! I feel like it should be one or the other... Like, all on the website, or all on the program thingy I downloaded! You know?

well...I got rejected from the school I really, really wanted to go to.

I don't know how to deal with this. I've worked so hard in high school, and even though I've gotten into some really great schools (and I'm extremely thankful of this), it just hurts so much to know I'm not good enough for this, even when I worked my hardest. I just...I don't know how to deal with this. On top of some other stuff that happened this week, I just can't deal. I don't know.

CE, I know you're probably already aware of how crazy the admissions process is, but I'd really like to remind you that there are plenty of factors that go into it that don't even have anything to do with the actual application from an individual student. Sometimes they receive so many that they'll basically play eenie meenie miney moe and toss out unread stacks of them for some arbitrary reason. I read one time that they spend some sad under-10-seconds amount of time on each app on average, too. Not getting in doesn't mean you weren't good enough, just that your worthiness didn't get a chance to show.

Thank you w_s! Thanks everybody, actually!

And the sig is referencing the best episode of a YouTube show called The Most Popular Girls In School/That Perks of Being a Wallflower meme.

But eventually, even those started to bother me.

I can still eat some cheeses. There are ones that are aged long enough that all the lactose is gone.

Anyway, enjoy it while you can, I guess? Lactose intolerance usually increases with age.

Yup I can agree to this, definitley gets worse with age! Now i just have to look at a yogurt and feel migrainey and bad tempered..whic sucks because I freakin love yogurt! If I wasn't allergic it would be yogurt alllll day long

A very dear friend's mom was set to move to our area this weekend, her health isn't that great, recently retired. She was rushed to the hospital today with heart pain. everyone believed it was a panic attack. Then we heard she was having surgery tonight, my friend headed out to go be there (about a 4 hour drive) One hour into her trip she is updated: no surgery, mom probably would not survive, estimated two weeks in hospice. So sad.
