I hate when I kiss my boyfriend and I can taste whatever food he ate recently.

Ah! I started to watch that a few months ago with my family (we were looking for a way to fill the void left by Downton Abbey in between seasons!)... We only watched one episode because they didn't love it, but I remember kind of liking it! I might need to try it again.

It's not as compelling as call the midwife for sure, but I'm only on ep 2 and I'm definitely invested in the stories.

well, i didn't buy a thing and the shelves are still pretty sparsely stocked, but i have to say that the Threshold line of home goods and the Nate Berkus stuff certainly won me over.

and, finally, Sonia Kashuk in Canada!!!

the store that used to be there had shelves almost up to the ceiling, so it's weird to be in there and have it so open. and i think it's safe to say that the biggest hit with the kids are the cart lanes on the escalators!

i was disappointed with the lack of selection in shoes and handbags and there were no plus sizes in the clothes, and the food selection wasn't all that different than a regular grocery store here, but the prices were pretty darn good!

Every time I go to a Target with the cart escalators, I act like a little kid.

In my experience, newly-opened stores don't tend to have the greatest selection - especially in clothes/shoes. Keep checking back! It took my store a little while to mature before it finally got some awesome stuff!

Heathers came out (to instant cult classic success) when I was in 7th or 8th grade. Eff me gently with a chainsaw! I can recite every like in that movie, backwards. It's on my top ten list.

Come on hair and dry so I can go to bed. I'm exhausted.

I think I'm suffering from exhaustion.

I worked friday 8:30-4 went home and then went back to work at 7 until 8:30 am. Slept and then went to work again. Just got home and I have to go back tomorrow at 8:30.

Where is sexy sexy to comfort me and massage me and my achey feet and vulva (jk...or not jk...or jk or not..) and wipe my tears and bathe me. I haven't showered. I AIN'T STANDING BETTER PUT A CHAIR IN THERE.

I had forgotten how not fun making any sort of meringue buttercream by hand is. It takes a while and lots of elbow grease to slowly whip a pound of butter into silky submission. I do love seeing the transformation from horribly curdled mess to smooth, creamy buttercream, though. And so worth it flavor-wise since it's so lightly sweet.

I'm surrounded by children. I mean I always though I was more mature than others but I didn't realize how rare introspection and maturity really were. good grief!!!!

If you lived next door maybe you'd let me bake over there so that a certain someone who birthed me would stop nagging me about how I need to get out of the kitchen.
