Ha Ha! The lady in the Metro North train booth insisted on seeing ID to make sure I was a senior citizen.

Tickles me in me old age.

I got carded the other day while buying beer, I was feeling snarky so I asked if he was just trying to make a 40 year old feel good.. he shrugged and said, "eh it's spring break, got lots of kids around"

Last week I spent enough money at Lancôme to get a free makeover today done by one of their specialists. That was today. Despite the fact that the baristas at Starbucks told me I look great, I feel like this much makeup actually makeshift look OLDER and somewhat drag queenie ish.

I think you look great in both pictures. However, I think you look happier/more relaxed in the first photo and therefor better. Everyone looks better when they are happy.

RCC and/or Nynaeve, have you read the last WoT book yet? I haven't yet but was curious if you thought it was a fitting end to the series. (I don't wanna know any plot details!)

I had to stop playing. Considering the rules aren't being followed, that's probably why you are confused.

I figured I wasn't getting it and and it was keep a letter, or keep the first two letters. I had to leave because I was getting irritated

I cried too. this made me really, really happy.

the marriage equality stuff on facebook might come across as kind of hokey...but I think it can be helpful to individuals. one of my really good friends is queer (she doesn't identify as anything exactly), but not out, and she told me that she cried because so many of her friends had changed their pictures. it was so good for her to see that people would be accepting if she came out.

One of my professors just wrote that we have to have a "minimum of two-to-three paragraphs" for an assignment.

WHICH ONE, SIR? Is it two, or is it three?!

It is supposed to be change one letter ONLY. Not rearrange letters. That is what is making the game confusing.

I think you look beautiful in both pics. You are a very attractive woman and carry off both looks great (not drag-queeny at all)...and I don't give compliments lightly.

I do think there are a couple problems with the makeup though. IMO, women over 40 shouldn't wear shimmery eye shadow. Matte is more forgiving and kind. In general, darker eye-shadow colors tend to be more flattering...dark makes things recede and light makes them come forward. And blush should be used very sparingly and shouldn't go below the level of the bottom of the nose.

I know this isn't what you asked for, but Springcurl, I think your nose hoop is so cute!

I'm jealous because I like hoops, but they don't look that good on me.

I also think you look lovely in both pictures
