Say It. I Dare You.

My mommy sent me an easter basket!

(I will seriously mourn the day I'm too old for this)

In it I found a can of Tootsie Rolls, Peeps, an easter egg hunt, and in the bottom of the bag a random assortment of other candied delights!

Oh and a card. That raps. The outside says "What's a big stash of easter candy..." and the inside says, "Without the rappers? Now that's what I call hip-hop!" The lyrics:

Yo my name is Chicky-P and I'm small for the mighty. I'm layin down the beat and my rappin is all rhyme-y. People think I'm sweet; I'm so cuddly, cute, and tiny. Call me that again and I'll kick you in the hineyyyyy.

Word to my bunny~

Omg and she signed it "Happy Zombie Jesus Day!" I said that once in like 10th grade and she won't forget it lol

And notice all the blue? Me and my sisters have been color coded all our lives lol.

Holy moly sorry for that big picture!!

Hahaha I called to say thanks and told her I was going to do the egg hunt with friends. And she's like, "Okay, yeah, no drunk egg hunts."

How did she know??

I'm thinking that this is because my sister is only 18, though. I seriously doubt there will still be Easter baskets by the time she is 29

the marriage equality stuff on facebook might come across as kind of hokey...but I think it can be helpful to individuals. one of my really good friends is queer (she doesn't identify as anything exactly), but not out, and she told me that she cried because so many of her friends had changed their pictures. it was so good for her to see that people would be accepting if she came out.

Of course we support you! It takes a lot of bravery to take a chance and be honest with such a personal thing.

You're the awesome sauce.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
Hugs, CE! You know we're here if you need to chat

Very sweet that you felt safe to say that here!

reading some of the arguments in the US Supreme Court today by the people trying to keep Prop 8 and i had to laugh at their "procreation" argument.

*snork*

then all heterosexual post menopausal women should be denied the right to marry, as well as all the sterile people like me!

i am fortunate enough to live in a country that has had equal marriage for the past decade. and nothing terrible has happened. the sky didn't fall on us, "god" didn't smite us down.

as a columnist in The Globe & Mail wrote on Monday:

"...the family unit has not gone to hell in a handbasket. Polygamists are not clamouring for marriage equality. And the institution of marriage has not fallen any further in esteem than it already had by 2003."

Gay marriage is a non-issue in Canada, but it still riles America - The Globe and Mail
