Oh my word, I hate the damn phone.

I wish I didn't because I know I should talk to my family more on it since we live so far away, but I really don't want to spend an hour on the phone listening to you talk to the dogs every 5 minutes.

I know I'm going straight to hell for feeling like this about talking on the phone maybe once a month to my sister. Oy.

Telephones are the debbil.

If I had my way right now I would be telling everyone who opens their mouth to sit down and shut the eff up. 2 can't get through on the radio when needed because 3 others are excessively running their mouths and at the exact same time 4 back to back callers where belligerent, and had no idea where they were yet still demanded that someone be sent to them NOW, NOW, NOW! So sorry, my crystal ball is broken.

I am so sick of this moon and sincerely might scream if another person requests officers be sent to their house to speak to, and comfort, one of their animals. I can't help that your pet keeps asking you to call. He doesn't have an emergency. Gah!
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

Great job CE!

I am so glad I am not alone in my phone hate. Why doesn't everyone understand that not EVERYONE likes the dern phone?! And my sister mentions to me that I should call my nephew who I haven't spoken to in a couple years. WTF, no that won't be an awkward phone call at ALL for me to just up and call him outta the blue. It's not that we're on the outs with each other or anything, we just haven't all been together for me to talk to him and hello I HATE THE PHONE.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
I was looking at pictures of Kristen Bells huge baby bump and thinking about her upcoming delivery (she has since had the baby)...

No, no, I don't want to be pregnant again. Thanks.

Oh hellz.

Mr. Spring is about to leave the house on a birthday gifting mission. He's being very mysterious and aloof. I do know he's going to Best Buy, but what on earth could he get me there? Maybe it's just to throw me off.

Oh, the suspense!

AND HE ATE A RAW MAITAKE MUSHROOM AND LIKED IT.

I immediately ran to the window and looked up at the sky to make sure it's not falling. Some strange business going on around here. Did someone say it's a full moon??

Ugh.

I went to church to light a candle for my FIL and for Russell, and then saw so many people I like attending the Maundy Thursday service that I stayed. Before I knew it, there was the priest, reading aloud about slaughtering lambs and painting blood on doors. And that's when I remembered why I don't go to church anymore (though I miss the choir and the friendships).

Dogs and nature abhor a vacuum.

I just googled maitake mushroom, and maybe I dreamed this, but aren't those the ones that jeepy likes? Only I think she calls them something else? I don't know....sometimes my memory isn't so good. Mr B said there's no way he'd eat something that looks like that.

I think they're also called hen of the woods, maybe?

It doesn't taste as earthy as regular mushrooms and since they're smaller doesn't have the same texture so I think that's why he was ok with it. I'm still in shock over it, probably will be for several days. Now I'm so excited to cook them and I have no idea what I'll put them in. Oh my gosh, what if I cook them and he hates them! I can't mess this up.

My B would never ever never eat a mushroom on purpose. I think Mr Springy is much less of a picky eater than B.

Congratulations CE! Are you leaving far for school or staying close?

When I was applying, my first choice was Berkeley. I got in for spring. Went to the Berkeley extension program for Fall (got in like two days before the semester started. Thanks wait list. I wasn't prepared!). Got kicked out of Berkeley before the Spring semester started. (an F in Sociology will do that to you) Sads. But Berkeley wasn't for me.

I hope that the school you want is an AWESOME place and that you are super happy to be there.

Whether in state or out.

Congrats, CE!!

Springy, I have heard of Chicken of the Woods. They are white and orange and taste like chicken. Not sure if thats the same. I'm not a big mushroom fan but I ate those and the leaves from a sour wood tree once. It was part of a class. The leaves tasted like granny smith apples.
