Have mercy, NO. It's a stinky cheese and he hates all stinky cheese. He accidentally got a mouth full of feta once (salad bar incident, he thought it was something else) and I thought his eyes were gonna pop out of his head and I swear he turned a light shade of green.

Okay...

Maitake mushrooms are known as hen of the woods and Laetiporus Sulphureus is know as chicken of the woods.

We'll practically be neighbors!

Well, not really since we rarely go across the bridge, but still pretty darn close!

Oooooh, that does look good. Except Mr. Spring definitely hates parmesan. Probably still be good without though.

I'm leaning toward a stir fry just because I've been craving that lately. Mmmmm, rice. I'm definitely open for suggestions.

Can anyone tell it's dinnertime here and I'm STARVING?!
Spring, are you talking about your husband, or mine? I just don't get it: how can they not like mushrooms or Parmesan????

Mushrooms are soooo good! I don't understand it.

He hates any type of olive, but that one I can understand since they have a really strong flavor.

B-wavy, your poor little finger tips are going to be wore out! It will be a couple of days before I do anything with them since we have leftovers we're working on.

I know one thing, he needs to hurry and get his asterisk home because I may pass out from hunger. No, I'm never overly dramatic... why do you ask??

randomness on the night before a holiday weekend...

i couldn't figure out why i was feeling so depressed for the past week or so - not eating properly, sleeping poorly... and then i remembered!

severe seasonal allergies can cause depression - and the tree pollen counts have been steadily climbing for the past 10 days.

*whew*

i'll double my dose of antihistamine now and see if it helps.

my friend Nelson wrote the coolest testimonial for me on my PoF profile! he's soooo funny!

The mushrooms I sort of understand because maybe they look a little scary to some people. Plus there's the texture thing.

But PARMESAN? I feel like I don't even know Mr Spring, or Mr KK, or Mr xcptnl anymore!

Oh wait. I don't know them.

Y'all are cracking me up, seriously sitting over here laughing out loud at y'all!

If I were only feeding myself tonight I'd saute those mushrooms with the asparagus I have and put it over pasta and call it good. Love me some asparagus!

Dear mercy, thank you baby Jesus I can finally eat dinner because someone just got home. AMEN!
