Oh, and I'm also going to bake some cupcakes for my friend. He has terrible taste and insists on American buttercream, which I can't do, so I'm meeting him halfway and doing chocolate frosting (which cuts the sweetness of typical American buttercream nicely) on the most tender, buttery, egg-yolk rich yellow cake. Plus devil's food cupcakes with marshmallow frosting. I might toss in a center of boozy whipped cream.

I have some really nice heavy cream that I do not want to go to waste so I will be making creme brulee tonight. Maybe that will make the grumpiness leave me

I had like 6 people walk up to me yesterday and exclaim "!!!! Your hair is getting SO LONG! OMG!!!"

No exaggeration.

Is that secretly code for "Your hair looks like crap, but at least it's LONG..." ?

It's not like it's that much of an accomplishment? I've just been lazy about getting my hair cut...

You're such an ass. Can someone tell me how to put someone on ignore? I can never seem to find it and I'm sick of stupid miserable people ruining my day.

...and as someone who has been on the receiving end of this (from you both).

It's an awesome feeling. You never expect so much but when you open up the box and see what's inside you heart swells and you are moved to tears. I think that's the true feeling that gift giving brings (for both parties). I mean, not that you want someone to cry, but you want them to be so happy that they *want* to cry

Well I'm sure I thoroughly bombed that tech interview (phone). It may have helped that I answered most of the questions from memory, they said I could use a computer for all the questions about 2/3 thru the interview. Eh well at least I tried.

!!!!

I need to go grocery shopping for dinner tonight, but all of my jeans are in the dryer... The only ones I have left are these terrible Gap skinny jeans. I know I'm just going to Wal Mart, but I still refuse to be seen in them!

I just cannot with people who don't pay attention to... anything, really.

I was filing paperwork with my 'friend' yesterday. I was missing a piece of paper that I knew I had. I asked her to check her stuff to see if it was there. Nope. I proceeded to file without the piece of paper. Just as I filed the work, she finds it. "Oh, it was just sitting here upside down." Ummmmm.... it was upside down underneath your pile of shhh I asked you to look under. Wake up! Now I have to refile. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

I thought I saw a preview for The Killing! I am so glad they are bringing it back for a 3rd season. I was pissed that people freaked out after the season 1 and refused to watch season 2 because they wanted fast paced closure of the show. I sometimes feel like I am headed toward television for attention deficit disorder. Each show will have 8 episodes, and be done.

^ Can't wait for Season 3! Season 1 was one of my favorite things on tv ever.

For Dr Who fans, there's a nice article on the 50th anniversary of the show in the March 29th Entertainment magazine.

In all my 56 years I don't think I've ever come across as many b1tchy, know-it-all, my way or the highway, everyone sucks but me, no you can't have your own opinion if it's different than mine, women as I've seen around here.
It boggles me sometimes.
