once again supposed to go to the library and focus my studies but I almost fell alseep in every.single.class.I had today, so i had to come home and reward myself with avocado.

one avocado is not enough.
I've been bunning my hair for months now. And today I washed it and left it down. With very little gel.

A couple of things:
1. I really need gel. My hair doesn't look all gorgeous like RCC and Saria. It looks frizzy and ugly.
2. Its getting long. Nice!
3. I need a trim. Pronto.
4. WHY CAN'T MY HAIR LOOK LIKE RCC AND SARIA?!?!? WHY? WHY!

I've seen your hair and it's beautiful just like the rest of you!

Aw, thanks. I can't go without gel, though, or leave-in conditioner.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

OH. MY. GOODNESS. I just went into the bathroom to look at the mess that is my hair today.

Ooooo. That was bad. So now its half up. I walked out of the bathroom and one of the attorneys told me my hair looked nice today.

I laughed so hard.

Barring relatively rare medical conditions, the law of thermodynamics states you are not a special little snowflake and your body works the same as everyone else's.

Edit: just realised I'd better add a disclaimer: not related to this board.

As a matter of fact people are special little snowflakes and no everyones body does not work the same. Your big words are pretty and take up a lot of space, but they lack common sense.

We have created multiple medications bc there are some people that certain medicines 'don't work' for. There are people whose headaches are not cured by medicine that easily works for another. There are anti depressants that work for some people and not for others. There are people who can take birth control and those that can not. There are people whose body responds to medications with side effects and others who don't. And there are more than enough situations where people have something wrong with them and doctors don't know what's wrong or how to cure it - as well as conditions that are described as "scientists don't know what causes this" - without it including a rare medical condition. Just as there are random situations where people are healed, or become well, randomly wake up from comas, live when they're told they're going to die, and on and on.

So yes, people are different, and while we all have the same parts and they work relatively the same way, the human body can react differently to the same thing, from one person to the next. And if everything was that easily determined and if everyone was built exactly the same, we would be robots, not han beimgs, and we'd have the answers for a lot more health conditions than we do.

So, you're just wrong. You read a book very well, but you need to be able to look outside of the box.

Lets not forget what we learned in elementary school - that scientific evidence is based on experimentation, not on inherently known facts. Most medications were discovered while scientists were trying to cure one condition and through tests discovered that the medication actually turned out curing another. Thats called a discovery.

Eta: I misread the original quote and did not mean to randomly wig out on curlylaura. So I'm sorry curlylaura. My opinion still stands. My direction was off.

The law of thermodynamic does stand. We work the same. Research it.

My original thoughts, with something that was said at work were: You cannot make muscle on a calorie deficit, apart from tiny new lifter gains.

But go ahead and think its always about you.

Considering all that has transpired recently, this is highly appropriate and needed IMHO.

I hope you enjoy it.

And then I thought why do teachers close the blinds (oh because i"m looking outside at the wondrous freedom) so we can see the board, NO YOU JUST MADE A DARK HELLO DARK EQUALS NIGHT TIME WHICH EQUALS BEDTIME OF COURSE I'M SLEEPY YOU SETTING THE MOOD.

School and work do the same thing to me, they suck out my life. I mean I wake up and I'm totally fine but once I get in class it's instant INSTANT sleepiness, I do the same at work, I'm like "Okay I'm in a good mood, I'm not tired" I clock in and it hits you like a bus, the sleep/sorrow.

It's strange, as soon as I leave the classroom I instantly perk back up.

Someone should do a study on that.
