The man and I watched Rear Window this morning, then went out for a fantastic sushi dinner and I even had oreo cheesecake for dessert. Now he's dragging me around while he checks in w the guys that work for him down at various restaurants.

Now I'm tired of these boots. I just want to go home and change into my sweatpants.

Went to JC Penney today because I had a coupon I wanted to use and I felt like I was in there ALL DAY. I didn't really try on that much, but dear mercy I thought I'd never get out of there.

At least I found some stuff though! A shirt, pair of ankle cropped jeans with cute little light polka dots on them and a BRA. Miracles happen, y'all... I found another bra.

This is the shirt I bought and get this, this is the first time in my life I've ever seen the plus size version CHEAPER than the misses size! Before I lost weight I shopped in the plus size section and it was always a few dollars more than the misses version, but today it was the opposite.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

He came running into the house (soaking wet and dripping water everywhere), went straight to the kitchen sink and turned on the faucet. Nothing came out. He turned without saying a word and ran back out to the garage. It was like a fountain out there.

We've just spent a lovely morning out in the spring sunshine waiting for the plumber who charges $200/hr on weekends.

It could have been worse though, right?

And I never laughed the whole time or made him feel badly.

Do I get a prize?
Yes. Yes, you get a prize! That is very impressive you didn't laugh. Is ice cream okay?

(Yes. I know I am really late. Just go with it)

important! should I buy an exclamation point ring?

another important question: should I buy the matching question mark ring and wear them on the same finger as an interrobang ring combo?

I only started visiting this thread fairly recently and I sometimes wish I hadn't - it takes sooo long to catch up when I've had a day off and I can't not look. Sad me, I know!

RubberBiscuit - I would've made a quick exit from your get together and perhaps been not quite so subtle about why - that's a disgusting way to treat a baby.

Spring - I hope your bottom continues to improve, I've had trapped nerves in the past and they're awful. I remember having to stand on one leg in the kitchen trying to cook as I couldn't weight bear. A visit or two to the physio fixed it.

Curlyeyes - I hope you continue to enjoy your positivity spiral and you continue to sing and dance about college! Even I've heard of Berkely from way down here so I'm thinking it must be a good college.

Kat180 - They do the same thing to us with the telly - Sundays are always overloaded with stuff to watch, I really think they should co-ordinate a bit better then they would all get their fair share of the ratings (always a big battle for ratings here). Very annoying. At least we can watch things on the computer these days.

Why do some, otherwise sensible, people just not think things through sometimes? It's my birthday today and SO got a message on fb this morning from one of his sisters to wish me happy birthday and to say she'd sent me some flowers (from the UK) which should arrive tomorrow. I'm leaving on Wednesday for a holiday to the UK, as she knows. I'm not being ungrateful, I just feel bad that I think she's just totally wasted money that I'm pretty sure she hasn't got to waste. Ah well, what can you do.
