I'd trade you. IAfter weeks of a very cool spring, it suddenly turned 80 today. Too frigging hot. I'd rather have snow. That's spring in the northeast though.

I think I'm gonna have to break down and buy a splint for my foot. It's a very minor sprain. It feels better in a day or two of rest. Then I forget and sit on my foot or sleep on my stomach and it starts hurting all over again. I'm reaching my prolonged pain threshold here. It's not even hurting that bad right now, yet I still feel like being a crybaby over it.

It's going to be 80 wednesday. I was so excited thinking maybe I could go to the pool. Then realized my stomach is a hot mess. And me in general.

Why can't I just take something and lose some?

80 is lovely without humidity. And, truthfully, today was 80 without humidity, so I can't complain too much. I just know the humidity is coming...any moment...ugh...

Standing in a room full of actively running dishwashers really sucks when you have to pee.

I can't stop coughing, this sucks. Mucous. Is it the dairy or flowers outside? Yuck.

I turned 50 last year. It sure beats the alternative. I intend to enjoy every age. I enjoy it doubly for my childhood best friend who didn't make it this far.
That is a wonderful thing to do.

The temps are climbing here. 74 yesterday, 72 today, and 79 for the next 2 days. I loved yesterday. I had windows open all morning, and was out with my family for most of the evening. With the breeze, it was perfect. I am not sure what is going on with me right now though. My feet are freezing, which has kept me cold all day.

BK? Veggie burger extra tomato and hold the mayo, large onion rings, and a Diet Coke.

RCW, I think and do the same thing for my mom, who died at the age of 40. The first time I realized I'd out lived her lifespan? Yeah, that was hard. But ever since then, I've thought about it in positive terms. It's all a bonus to know I've been for that, and this, and that.

The clouds have moved in but it's 59 with no rain even. They're ugly enough for it though. 80 would be nice, my feet need to unthaw!

For all the great pastry and fruit I had yesterday, I still regret not having any chocolate covered pretzels.

Wendy's is always a better choice. Always.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I try to live my life without regret, but if anything is worth regret, it's chocolate.

Tried to look at the wedding pictures again.

Nope. Still feel nauseated. Especially at the one where we're saying our "I do's" and he's in the background and I just feel sick.

I don't even know if this is normal, or not. It feels like enough time should have passed, right? (not that any of you have any idea what I'm talking about)

And it's almost 2 years later (from the wedding probably 8 months from the incident in question?)!

((Mojo)) be kind to yourself. Setting yourself up by making an arbitrary timeline (2 years. 8 months) doesn't serve you. Allow yourself time to heal. At your own speed. Maybe find someone to talk to who you trust so you can gauge if you are moving forward. I find that healing is rarely linear and often goes in spirals.
