I hope the coming storm passes by quickly and without damage. It would also be nice if I could squeeze 2 loads of laundry in before it hits.

Tragic. Young life lost always makes me sad. I'm sorry for the family.

For those who have lost someone, my condolences. I remember a few of Fig jam's posts, but I think she stopped posting shortly after I came on the board.

It's when you are looking at everything but what you should be looking at.

It's also a term used more when driving. Someone drives off the road, or into another lane, because they were looking at the scenery rather than the road.

ETA: It's also something I yell at my mom every time I ride with her now. "Quit sky bugging, woman!!"

I hate that my cats have allergies but watching their faces when they have sneezing fits is pretty stinking adorable.

I woke up feeling absolutely horrid (rain makes my fibromyalgia go into warp speed torture) and this makes me smile and giggle. And I cannot stop reading it!

First I'm a-gonna get some nicotine gum, and then I'm a-gonna get a Mammogram.

I can't remember if they still use those metal button stickers over one's nip-nips or not.

I wish they employed a little "cuddle for your mental-health" dog at the hospital.

Mostly I wish this was no big freaking deal, but given the way they over-reacted on me last time, I have no idea what to expect, and that is no fun a'tall.

If marijuana was legal here, I would probably have some before I go.

Its just such a degrading procedure. I think thats partially what makes everyone nervous.

Hope all goes well for you today.

((( claudine )))

I hope it's not nearly as bad as you fear it might be.
I'd follow it with ice cream, myself. That usually helps me.

I would bet if men had to have their "boys" smashed between two plates of cold glass, they would find a more humane way to have a mammogram done. ijs
