Thanks, everyone.

The test itself is weird (you're right, all that smushing), but it's the "OMG shehasafamilyhistorysolet'sover-reacttoeverythingwesee!" afterward that drives me nuts.

It's kind of boring, in a way. I usually wind up seated beside some modest-seeming Amish woman. They're always nice, but I feel like some other breed of human in comparison.

Maybe I will get ice cream afterward. I've been wanting one of those Drumsticks with a caramel center. And something from the BBC to watch; something with waistcoats and muttonchops.

That's so sad about figjam. The thing about only knowing people online is that you don't know their friends and family and can't give condolences and let them know how much they were liked in the online community they were a part of.

Thank you to the curly that suggested the book Why Does He Do That? It's helping me heal from the abuse. To walk away from this with as few regrets as possible.

Last night and today has been rough. She is on a 'you're a thief' kick.

I need to shake the hate off and keep myself moving.

Agh!!!

Technically, she is the thief. She has stolen your trust, your belief that you should be safe in your own home, your love, when she clearly didn't love you. Please don't let her "steal" anymore of your precious time.

I'm sure your book goes into it, but remember, abusers (physical, emotional) twist things around to make you feel like its YOUR fault. They make you think they do these things to you because (insert every insult here). They make you think you deserved the abuse bc you're clingy, ugly, stupid, jealous, paranoid, needy, mean, etc etc.
They want you to feel bad so that you think YOU'RE the one doing wrong. You're the bad person and not only do you deserve the abuse but you also NEED your abuser bc nobody else would want you.

Its all wrong, lies, false. They are manipulators. Its never okay for a loved one to make someone question who they are as a person. And you did nothing wrong. Even a person who has personality flaws or has negative traits in a relationship STILL doesn't deserve to be humiliated or ridiculed.

Hang in there, Minxy. You can be strong and get through this.

Figures, I buy my apple juice at Walmart, no problem. I get apple juice at Wegmans and it gets recalled.

Fyi, Wegmans apple and cranberry juices were recalled.

The giant Viking of a human stopped by LIVE with Kelly and Michael on April 9, and he dropped a tasty little nugget about the show’s upcoming sixth season. Let’s just say “Billith” might not be Eric’s biggest concern. “Humans have never been a problem [for vampires],” Alex teased. “But for the first time, they’re actually a real threat. Eric’s real busy this year.”
I guess this quote explains why Pam (Kristin Bauer Van Straten) and Tara (Rutina Wesley) are being held at gunpoint by humans in the first official teaser trailer for season six.
