Claudine, I'm having a mammo on the 24th. I'm always afraid the operator will die during it and I'll be left sandwiched between those horrible plates until someone finds me. (But I also have that fear during MRI's).

Not my favorite procedure. Definitely ice-cream afterwards. Probably a sundae. Maybe an ice-cream soda. Anyone remember Schraffts?

I've heard of Schraffts, and I remember ice cream sodas. I tried to get a Drumstick but I couldn't find a single serving; it was a four pack or nothing. Knowing my compulsiveness, I opted instead for a Butterfinger.

It has never occurred to me that the booby-helper lady will die and leave me stuck in there. The lady I always wind up with has an extremely gregarious personality, and somehow seems.........unstoppable. Also, her hair is an entirely different color every year. And, they only have boring magazines.

It was fast though somewhat suffocating. Hope yours goes swimmingly.

That would make for a good scene in a funny movie, I think. (Your idea, I mean.)

Womens Health has an article about marijuana. Recreational - with less health risks, immediate and long term, and medicinal - for arthritis, fibromyalgia, epilepsy, and more.

I'm glad to see some of the stigma slowly going away. I look forward to more people finding a relaxing way to unwind, or a cure for pain without addiction and side effects - and less people spreading overreactions and exaggerations or calling people 'stoners' like Rachel McAdams.

My state will probably be one of the last to legalize it.

I'm not crazy about the stuff, but I don't think it should be any more illegal than alcohol.

I was getting all nostalgic reading this thread, remembering Fig Jam's funny posts, remembering when she picked the name after RubyLoxx was discussing her grandma's fig jam or something to that effect, then I went all priveleged white girl and distracted and started thinking how much I'd enjoy a vacation and Disneyland. I blame iroc.

Guys. Am I crazy for thinking about heading to the drugstore to try buying a different foundation? I seriously cannot wear this stuff I bought the other day. It's so bad.

My skin cannot go nakey.

I think my state might annex and form their own state before legalizing pot. Heaven forbid!

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.

No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.

AHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now half a dozen called saying that she has an emergency and to pick her up god knows where.

I said no, but I'm agonizing about her emergency. But when I tried to call her to find out if it was a real emergency or not, she wouldn't answer.

My rational mind knows that she isn't having an emergency, but my heart is having a hard time accepting that I'm leaving someone who is asking for my help without it.

I'm having a hard time.

Ugh. I hate her. I hate this.

(about changing my phone number: not ready to tell my family and they will need an explanation as to why I changed my number. But probably by next weekend.)

I've decided to go to the park. I don't want to go straight home. I need a break from my everyday.

I'm leaving. I'll post later from home.
