My rational mind knows that she isn't having an emergency, but my heart is having a hard time accepting that I'm leaving someone who is asking for my help without it.

I'm having a hard time.

Ugh. I hate her. I hate this.

(about changing my phone number: not ready to tell my family and they will need an explanation as to why I changed my number. But probably by next weekend.)
You are not her emergency contact any longer. Even if she is having an emergency. It is not your job to take care of someone else at your own expense. She's shown you who she is, a sudden emergency won't change that.

Meanwhile there are apps that can block certain numbers. She's trying to get a reaction, trying to play on your strength of character, don't let her win.

I think the park is a good idea, so is ice cream, turning off your phone, hiding under your covers if you need to. We're here, too. ((Minxy))

Yes.

I would feel the same way feeling that someone needed me and I was leaving them stranded.

I'm SURE she has someone else to call. If not, she needs to find someone bc you are not available to her anymore.

The nerve of someone breaking someones nose and then asking THEM for help. Unreal. She's too much.

Minxy, tell her if she's having an emergency she needs to call 9-1-1 or you will be happy to call for her.

It is a thousand wonders that I made it out of Walmart parking lot alive. It was brutal.

Last night one of my Facebook friends/really annoying person I have known all my life was drunkity drunk drunk and posting the most outlandish stuff. You could hardly read his posts, period, and then he started in on how women needs to fulfill their husbands sexual needs (to put it mildly) because the bible tells her so.

speaking of cancer, people with tiny humans, lather up your babies, one bad sunburn on a child can result in the bad skin cancer later on.

Thank you! I will have to try this out. I am always on the search for one that is remotely comfortable.

I am sure I look like a possessed woman when I come home from work. I start ripping my bra off the moment I walk in the door.

Today I got some great life changing news and the news spurred my old friend who I haven't spoken to in awhile to call with a sweet voicemail about how happy she was for me and how she wanted to treat me to dinner or drinks. We just talked for over an hour catching up. My heart is bursting with happiness today!

I didn't get ice cream, but I am happy with my evening.

Now I'm planning on making myself a sandwich and going to sleep.

I've read a little and now I'm going to just eat and sit. If I can't control myself, I might decide to crochet, but since I know myself, I need to not start so that I don't get carried away and crochet for eleventy billion hours.

^ Relax and enjoy!

I understand what you mean. I have a few projects or video games that I can not quit, once I start them. I have to plan accordingly

Applause for this:

Quote:
I simply do not understand this new movement of (idk why, white girls mostly) people getting so outraged that their expectations were not met and their whims were not catered to that they have massive, national hissy fits that they then transform into witch hunts for those "responsible". This generation has become so utterly entitled and has really started to believe their own hype, that when they fail, instead of reconsidering, looking inwards, realizing that hey "I didn't get into the college because I was simply not good enough/there were simply too many people who were just as good and better and I didn't make the cut", they decide that someone else must be to blame. But who?? Well, let's go after those uppity minorities, with their affirmative action and their desire to get educated, if only I'd been BLACK then I could have gotten in WOW THANKS BLACK PEOPLE FOR STEALING MY FUTURE LIKE YOU DO EVERYTHING ELSE

like, these children are so twisted, so devoid of intelligence, critical thinking skills and lacking of any understanding of the real world that they take the stage expecting people to take pity on their plight (and then use racism to back their assertions up). Sorry, babes. Next time score higher on your ACTs and SATs, get better grades, have more hobbies, and if and when that still doesn't land you your number 1 school, understand you did all you could and do your very best in another school (and then maybe try to transfer or make the best of it at your new university. Welcome to life).

As to the bolded part = NOOOOOOOO! Ahem, I married a nice, sweet, passionate man who loved and respected me. Years later, he was none of those things. He actually put his fist through a wall when we had an arguement about sex. WTF??? So please understand that love is blind and people can hide their worst sides. The combination can be deadly. Do not assume she's dumb. Please.

Minxy: block her, change your number. You can have your cell provider block her for you. Do not let her into your life in any shape, form, or fashion. You have no responsibilities toward her whatsoever. You do not need texts, or calls from her and you don't need to call her. What if she physically hurts you again? Do not allow that. Certainly do not open yourself up to that. {{{hugs}}}
