Needless to say I'm not going anywhere! I don't visit every day and only post sporadically, but this site will always have a special place in my heart ... and, like Arnie the Governator, I'll always "be back."

There was no real drama. Just the usual anti-board sentiment and complaints, a little big of clique-snark, and some regrouping on other forums formed by members on FB. You may receive an invite if you haven't already. I think most board members are posting over there.

I am anti Facebook and though it has its ups and downs I'm pro NC.com. So I try to wait out the drama.
No real drama??? It was fake drama? And 'you may receive an invite'? I do not think anyone was left out unless you are anti Facebook. And then it was your choice but don't try and create drama by insinuating people were left out.

Again, to clarify, there was no real drama in that there was no specific blow up thread that caused a mass exodus. You may recieve an invite means that there is a possibility someone may see her post and tell her about the new group if she isnt aware of it.

I wasn't insinuating anything. It is my choice to not go, and I don't feel left out at all.

If you guys can post more freely over there, thats great! But don't pop in here just to start drama where there is none. Its not fair to those of us who still post here. I meant no disrespect in my comment. I would appreciate it if none were created.

I'm thinking the two bolded sections may be related.

It's interesting that two costars of That 70s Show have become big stars but the lead character hasn't.

Eric? He's been in some movies.

'Fes' went on to do the voice of Handy Manny on Disney

They've all actually done quite a few things.

You're right, I apologize. That sentence doesn't apply to you. But you still misread my post. I assure you there's no animosity on my part over any other forum.

a couple of days ago, our high temp for today was supposed to be 14/57. then they said, no, it will be 17/63, but it was already that at 10 this morning.

it was changed to 19/66.

it's now 21C/70F!

As an FYI, I will also be in the DMV area for about 4 weeks, from late July to mid August. I would love to meet any curlies that are in the area or at most an hour away. Let me know!

The group is way too large to be a clique. Also, aren't cliques exclusive? Because this isn't (see above). The FB group is secret only so we can talk freely (ie., swear and talk about S-E-X) without worrying about family/work/others on FB seeing what we're saying.

I hope this clears up some of the mystery. It's really not a big deal.
Again, to clarify, I was explaining to her that most people have gone to another group, and I did mention the unhappiness w the board being the reason. The clique comment was separate and doesn't even include the majority of people who moved on to another group.

I really wasn't implying that anything was secret or exclusive.
Riiiight.

Bahahaha! I posted in another thread about moving into an office at another job. The previous employee had just quit and had worked there for like 5 years. They liked to play practical jokes on each other and one year for his birthday, they lined his entire desk and credenza/back desk with his business cards side by side, shrink wrapped the desk, filled it with packing peanuts, then threw glitter all over it. I worked there 4 years and was STILL discovering glitter!

Yep. You're here FOREVER!

This area is under construction as my hair type changed and nothing works well for me. I shampoo, I condition and pretty much have done nothing but chuck my hair in a messy bun for the past oh...year? Yeah, I'm that lazy.

No...going no-poo or CG does not work for me. It leaves me overconditioned and oily in a second no matter what I use, so that's not what's not working.
