Rou, it doesn't scare me. Unfortunately, however, I may not be making the trip.

Rou, it is still up in the air. Not ruled out yet. My sister may have a business trip that conflicts. I won't know until next week.

Tequila is definitely on the list!

E-maman,
That sounds like Georgia, USA right now. We had been running the heat at work last week and this week the A/C. I have had a horrible headache and running nose for the last week due to the crazy temperatures ups and downs....

Thank you all for your kind concern.

I'm thinking this will all go away.

Lalalalala.

And juanab., I loved that story so much, I put it up on my blog a little while ago. Thank you for posting it.

(Mia may get to keep me at that, TRBL. )

I am mentally exhausted at the moment. I would love to be floating in pool, with a pretty drink in hand, and not one thought in my head.

CP, bosses can be the devil. Fortunately, mine is in a good mood today. Unfortunately, he may be in a bad mood tomorrow. It all has to do with his home life. Demanding wife and "grown" kids. If I'm having a bad day...too bad....too sad. LOL! That's life. As my very dear friend who passed away last year would always tell me....It is, what it is. I say BS! Leave your ****e at home.

Thanks for chiming in, Lotsa. He ruined my happy day, but fortunately, soon I go home!

Isn't it nice we can go home to our "happy place". They go home to more misery/drama. Just keep smiling. That's what I do and they hate that. Us little people are happier then they are.

Amen to that! It is what it is. I need to focus on the good things and let this go.

You're a peach Lotsa. Thanks for the support.

So I'm going to Vegas this Thursday. Picked out all my clothes to wear. Especially my dresses for dinners and shows and of course the high heels to wear with them. So.....I broke my damn toe. I bought some dressy flats just in case the toe isn't healed by Thursday, but still packed my heels.

I get that all in one day. Silly Alberta "If you hate the weather, just wait 5 mins". Though today wasn't that day. It was warm to begin with, warm during the afternoon, and now it's a warm evening. All with a side of windy.

i have the consultation for weight loss surgery on Friday.

since there is a 2-year+ waiting list for gastric bypass in this city, and i have no desire to have myself mutilated, we will be looking at lap band or intragastric balloon procedures.

*sigh*
