Last night I somehow got sucked into watching videos of people flipping out in fast food establishments, for the dumbest reasons. People breaking out the drive thru window and attacking employees because they could not get McNuggets, during breakfast hours. Idk. I never found fast food to be that complicated or serious. Order a chicken biscuit and move on.

dear co-worker dork!

whining about how you have to lose 8 pounds when you wear a size 2 to a co-worker who has been denied weight loss surgery because she's not "fat enough" is a really, REALLY stupid thing to do!

Various thoughts:

So apparently my right eye compensating for my left eye has been going on for a while, gauging by how strangely difficult it is to get used to these new glasses. My left eye aches a bit now sometimes, which I can't understand; if it's getting the right magnification, why should it hurt?

The trick to buying leggings (for me) is to go up a size. More comfortable, less fitted (relatively speaking).
-------------------
A. at the party yesterday: whew! It seemed that at any moment she might fall over drunk. And now she's wearing spit-curls with her bobbed hair. You know how some people just make you anxious? Yes.
----------------------
Why did S. get remarried so fast? It doesn't make her seem any less guilty about her participation in the swindle. Also, was that her, or her sister last week? Regardless, what a kook. OTOH, consider her parents: realistically, what were her chances of not turning out nutty? I'm sad for the sweet kids, though.
What a mess.
-------------------------------
I think one needs a very specific type of body to look good in flat sandals. Unfortunately, I do not have that body type. I wish I did, but alas, I do not.
----------------------------------
Why is there no in-between option on (the big) Kindle's version of Scrabble? It's either too easy or too difficult. And I can't find the accepted words list.

Mia and I saw the blue heron this afternoon. It's been awhile. Happy s/he's back.

I get in inordinately annoyed my mother's lack of self sufficiency. It's not that she can't do things for herself, she just has a litany of reasons why others should do things for her and instead of saying thank you, it's criticism about how they did it wrong.
This isn't new, but my parents just moved nearby (for the first time in 26 years I live in the same town as them - prior to this it's been about 400 miles or more), I think I'm just around it more and it's just building.
I don't like this about myself, that I'm mad at my mom for not doing things herself. Her health isn't great and I see so many things she could do for herself to make things better but instead she plays the"poor me" card and doesn't help herself.
I wish I was able to just coddle her, but I'm afraid I'm not built like that.

So my ex told me a ton of times that I make strange noises when I sleep. She had even gone so far as to ask if I loudly masturbate in the middle of the night because she hears me. I would get SO OFFENDED at her making up that crap. Just because she is bothered by masturbation, I thought she was trying to make me feel bad (as she had done in other situations). She also said I would grind my teeth a lot. Which I know I do. I had a terrible headache yesterday and figured I must be grinding my teeth again.

So over the weekend, I got another smart alarm app. This one evidently records sleeping noises it hears in the middle of the night. This morning, I saw all sorts of stuff on the noise chart so I hit play on one. OH. MY. GOODNESS. I made some INTERESTING noises. Moans and stuff. And I can clearly hear myself grinding my teeth.

Not good. I feel compelled to apologize for how I had acted when she would mention it, but I won't.

But world: I feel bad I acted like that. I had no idea I slept so loudly!

Seriously though. What is up with the moans? Am I turning around? What the funk am I doing?

Mix of 3s, thick, coarse, medium porosity

Current hair styling technique: rake with a scrunch at the end. (works with my coarse hair)
