Rant:

If I get ONE MORE g-damned bug in my eye today as a result of there being no breeze, I'm going to have a real fit, right there on the street.

End rant.

Thank you all for your patience.

p.s. I can't solve the problem by wearing glasses or sunglasses because in this kind of weather, I get heat rash.

(Starts sobbing) OMG I can't take this heat!

(Going away to blow nose loudly now.)

Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday Juana!!!

It's been in the 60's here, and today we warmed up quickly. That was apparent when I woke up soaked in sweat after having to turn off the AC last night. Make up your mind! No rain today, though. I am so happy about that. We need to dry out. A natural spring came up in my co workers garden and rotted all his crops.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

I know McDonalds likes to hire a lot of men on jail work release, for not paying child support, in my county. They have no budget. It's all being handed over, so that's handy.

Fifi, I do think there is corruption and people taking advantage of the system. I just think these things get taken out of context and the bigger issue isn't taken into consideration

My last day of work before three weeks off is Thursday. I'm taking tomorrow off to volunteer at the Dog Show (very excited) and get a deva cut (also very excited). Yesterday I found out that I need to be at a mtg (personal not work) thursday afternoon - but I had a dr appointment. So I rescheduled that for the morning on Thursday.

Which means

TODAY IS MY LAST DAY

The funky, high-achieving VP of sales is currently blasting Patsy Cline, and it's all coming back:

^^^ya gotta love Patsy Cline!

even 50 years after her death, her music still resonates and sounds better than a lot of the crap that comes out of Nashville these days! and that voice....

From Michael Berg:

Every person has a unique connection to the Creator that can never be extinguished, and every person has a great soul that can manifest important things in our world. To make a person feel less than they are because of something inside themselves, be it faith, race, or sexual orientation, is the greatest sin of all."
She struck me as maudlin this time around, but oh, how I used to love her. My poor father would grimace every time I played her "Best of" hits.

I still like the spirituals, though.

My boss is obsessed with his mortality. He believes when he dies that is it and he will no longer exist. He thinks about this ALL the time and it depresses him. Right now he has a patient in his chair who is in his early 90"s and he is asking him how he feels knowing that the end of his life is near. My boss is unbelievable.
