I love Michael Bolton. Not ashamed.

Favorite song: Steel Bars.

This feature on Sunday Morning makes me love him more.

Thank you Rou and back at you!

I am so glad the missing girl from San Diego (Hannah Anderson) was found alive and well. That is some needed good news. Her family has much loss and grief to deal with now, but this can give them something good to hold on to.

ETA: Almost forgot... For those of you with satellite (I think it's only on sat) have you seen DOGTV? It is the first tv channel for dogs. It is set up in the way they view things. It will be a paid/subscription channel but a free preview is going on now, until the 14th. I watched a bit of it last night. They have morning shows to relax your dog that show nature scenes and play mellow music, afternoon shows to energize them, etc. Pretty funny. I know not all will like it. I have one cat who loves his "moobies" cat sitter video's and nature shows. The other will not watch. My moms cats are the same. Anywho, DOGTV is supposed to be helpful for dogs who seem to get in trouble when left alone in the house. It keeps them occupied (while running up the power bill).

I wish I had satellite! I looked at ordering dogtv through roku but thought it was a bit much. Instead, I leave the hallmark channel on for Fin when I'm at work. I like him to have some noise (to drown out other possible noises in the apartments), and I picked hallmark because it's all nice stuff, golden girls, the waltons, little house. He can be pretty skittish so I didn't want shows that might have guns, shouting, sirens, etc.

Oh, springy, it's so good to hear from you!

Thank you for your kind wishes. I think she'll pull through, but it's a rough situation (no pun, etc.). I'm waiting to learn if she had a seizure from shock, or if she is epileptic in addition to being injured.

Please hug and kiss my nephew Calvin. Is he well? Everything good in the spring1 family?

Calvin and I are keeping her in our thoughts and giving her lots of e-pets and love. Your poor girl, I hate that you're both going through this.

Calvin is doing good. For some reason he really didn't like that we left him yesterday and not only did he eat then throw up part of my spider plant, he decided chewing on the door was a good idea. I have no idea what got into him, but he's back to himself today after stomach pain from his shenanigans. He's always keeping us on our toes, that's for sure. Thank goodness spider plants aren't toxic. He pooped white paint speckled artistic poop today with a little spider plant thrown in.

We're there in spirit wrapping you and Sadie up in big hugs!

Aww. Hallmark is a good channel. DOGTV was pretty interesting. I wanted to see the different color schemes used, and they way they filmed/edited things as if it was through a dogs eyes. If I had a dog, I probably wouldn't buy the channel though. I like having a couple different cat sitter movies on hand. I got the first one 11 years ago. My tom was so excited about it. After he watched it the first time; he would walk over to the shelf where I kept my movies and look at it When you asked if he wanted to watch it, he would go crazy. They are so funny with shows like that. Trying to chase birds, etc. It stimulates and gives them some exercise, but is only a couple hours long It more of a here and there treat.

Thank you, Starmie.

Claudine, I'm glad to hear that Sadie will pull through.

And thank you

I have never and will never admit to being normal (how boring) but I must say I have some really weird friends, and that's saying something. My bestie just called and said he ran into one of our old friends last night. She has moved back. She told him I wanted nothing to do with her anymore. Okay then. I just sent her a message on FB last week. Her brother passed away, and I had sent her msgs and text before that, and had no idea she was back in town. True, I did cut way back on returning her calls last year but I had to. She was taking too many nips from the bottle again, and decided that I should go through all of my clothes and give her the majority of the larger sizes, because I had lost weight. To give a little background, she is close to 60 and raised 5 kids mostly by herself, has some major problems with degenerative arthritis and can no longer work. She never had much, and I would not hesitate to give her some clothes if I were going through them, but the way she went about it was just weird. She was calling me at 2, 3, 4 am asking me if I had gone through my clothes yet. Again, never told her I would. At that point, I had no extra time to deal with clothes. It wasn't nbr one on my to do list. I also wanted to hang on to some (not all) of my larger sizes just in case I put some weight back on. Anyway, she was more or less harassing me, non stop, and then asked if she could move in with me. I love her, but she is an episode of hoarders. No!! **She loves thrift stores, and still has all 3 of her daughters clothes from high school, and another friend (who is a compulsive bargain shopper) gives her useless items that she doesn't need and can't part with ** We just texted here and there after that. I love her with all my heart, and don't mind spending time with her when she is at least mildly sober, but she can be a hand full when the mood hit's, if you know what I mean.
