this person apparently has a lot of disposable income, here is her box list:

Reviews Until You Drop: My Subscription Box List

she reviews several dog boxes, including barkbox

my issue w/barkbox is that I wish they had an every other month (or even every three month) choice, because my little guy has enough stuff, there's no way we could use what is in a box every month without having a lot of leftover stuff

eta: inspired by all of this talk, I emailed them to inquire if they'll do every other month or quarterly subscriptions

We get the Graze box weekly and really enjoy it. We share one every afternoon and it's been fun trying them and so far there have only been a couple of things we didn't like. I think they're still on an invite only basis, but hopefully they'll be successful and do open enrollment soon.

I think my gang will do well with a Barkbox. Claudie has a sensitive stomach, but Mia-Mimi has....shall we say.....a healthy appetite.

Who knows Claudine. I hate that I can't like from my app. I would like away.

So I am going to get my do did on Friday and I can't figure out what I want. Ahhh! It's time for a change. We had to use dye the last time, as opposed to toner, and if I have to do dye, I'm having fun with it.

If you do it, pm me your referral code so if I sign up you get some perk. I heard back from them and they said other people also want bi monthly, but at this time they just suggest you order then cancel, then sign up again when I want another one. Which seems like a good solution to me

Well, that's very nice of you, PerriP.

I am much obliged. I will probably wait until Baby Rotten (aka Sadie-Kate) is well again before doing anything. If you decide to join in the interim, please don't hesitate.

I have gotten 4 bags from ipsy so far and haven't been disappointed. I also have a 13yo daughter so we split them. We actually just gave some of the full sized items we didn't want in an ipsy bag to her friend for her birthday and I didn't have to go to a store. I would recommend them.

Burr. It is cool this morning. Yesterday everyone was saying, "it feels like fall" and it does. I have absolutely no idea where summer went though. We only had a few hot days. The rest has been rain and milder temps.

I can't wait to go home. It has been a long and steady night. You can tell the nearby college is getting ready for fall semester. The bars here have been hopping. Drink, fight, wreck has been the major theme.

I have no idea what my fuzzy boy did to make his sister mad (look at her, probably) but I was on the opposite end of the house and could hear her growling at him. It sounded like she was saying, "No! No! No! No! No!" She used to say something close to no all the time, because she heard it often as a kitten. It's been a while since I've heard that.

Okay, let me try to post some pic's here. I'm actually thinking ombre when I get my hair done, which is weird because I don't really like it and hate it on straight hair, but I'm thinking subtle and in the red/strawberry spectrum. I actually think ombre looks better on hair with some texture or curl, but my hair is not this long. It is past my shoulders now, though.

Say It. I Dare You.-imageuploadedbycurltalk1376567213.514770.jpg

Something like this except I want the root shade to be just a little lighter. More like the 2nd pic, and if I don't do ombre, I might get something closer to this pic. I like the subtle highlights and she does have a touch of strawberry on her ends.

Say It. I Dare You.-imageuploadedbycurltalk1376567326.375089.jpg

I vote not terrible at all. You? Lol. I really like both, and my hair has been toned with a strawberry tint for close to 2 years so it won't be a pain.

The bestie said, "I like the formal one". Haha. Reject. Idk why I asked him. He's color blind as hell, but he still wants to give his opinion. Sigh. I'm ready for a fall do.

Fifi, please post pics when you are done!

********

I'm finding myself with very little patience lately. I fly off the handle easily and the smallest of things make me roll my eyes and want to tell people to "shut up"; "grow up"; "just go away"
Maybe if I actually said those things, I would feel better.
I was to the point of thinking that I don't actually LIKE people anymore, but then I realized there are plenty of people I do like, but there are just some that I want to slap.

ETA: that is a lie, I don't want to slap them, I want to punch them in the face

also ETA: Actually, I think this is just one person, not many - which is important to remember

Ms. PerriP, you have to remember too that you've been going through an incredibly emotionally trying time. Your patience is understandably stretched thin! I guess I'm just saying don't be too hard on yourself for wanting to punch people.

You like me and that's all that matters in the world, right?

(I'm assuming you like me anyway, hope I'm not presuming to much )

I am tempering it with the exact thinking above. I think a lot of is because I don't ... um, tend to lean on people that much in my life, so when I have stuff going on like I have lately, I expect A LOT of people in my life (and that's probably not fair to them) - but the self-absorption of some people just really makes me.. well, angry enough to punch them in the face LOL

and, when I was thinking who I did like today, please know that SEVERAL curlies made the list (yes, including you)

dear people (NOT of NC, i am talking about courts staff types):

this is not difficult - it is an online system and you only have to enter 2 numbers. i have sent detailed instructions right down to "Press Save" and "Press Exit". you are supposed to enter the data by the 11th of the month so that i can hound you if it is not in by the time i have to send the data to the office of the Chief Justice which happens to be the 15th. which happens to be today.

this system has been in place since last November, what is so difficult about it?

I will do it, Perri! As soon as I have a chance. Tomorrow will be crazy. I have to get up early, run 200 errands, go to my hair apt, come home, and get ready for company. Blah. I'm going to be worn out and useless. I'll get it fixed the way I like it and share on sat or sunday though. Most know how it is. You never like how someone else wants to fix your hair.

I was dreaming about packing my Dukes of Hazzard lunch box and woke up with the theme song stuck in my head. Just some good ol' boys, never meaning no harm, beats all you never saw been in trouble with the law since the day they were born. Flattening the curves, straightening the hills, some day the mountain might get em but the law never will. Makin' their way, the only way they know how. That's just a little bit more than the law will allow. Just some good ol' boys, wouldn't change if they could. Fighting the system like a 2 modern day Robin Hood.

I have the weirdest dreams sometimes, and now I want to watch the show. I always appreciated the narration. "Now that's a pickle jar the boys might not find their way out of." Haha. Not really, but close enough.

Sorry, Perri It does get stuck there.

ZOMG! That just brought back the funniest memory. I was a little girl, early 80's, height of DOH popularity, and playing on a CB radio in my dads friends truck. It was my first time around a CB so I had to go all out. "Breaker Breaker 1 9, this is Roscoe P Coltrane (gu, gu, gu) Anybody read me?
Say It. I Dare You.-imageuploadedbycurltalk1376596084.451659.jpg

Within a few seconds some trucker responded "I read ya loud and clear little darlin'. This is Crazy Cooter. You lookin for them Duke Boys?" Well of course I was.

Omg, I died. It made my little Dukes Day.

Okay, stfu now. I have to actually get ready for work as opposed to strolling down memory lane.

It's pretty slow here at work today, so I've spent some of my afternoon on dailysquee.com, and happened across this. - it has me laughing really hard. I'm not sure if I'm just tired or if it really is funny

So I made this yummy vegetarian chili this week and brought some to work to eat on my lunch hour. I was so hungry (skipped breakfast) and was so looking forward to this. When I opened the tupperware container it contained watermelon balls.
