I was talking to my uncle, for the first time in years, when I was in the UK earlier this year - could have been my dad at the other end of the line, they're spookily alike. Thankfully my dad is still alive and well, but I can imagine how that must have felt for you rou.

It wouldn't hurt I love sweaters too, Claudine but... I didn't get one. I was out of my eyes cream and of course ended up getting a couple other things. There went my sweater money. I'm happy though. I got this Almond & Mineral exfoliating treatment mask that has paprika extract that increases blood circulation and improves skin appearance and ivy that purges your pores and tightens. And of course the ground up almonds that exfoliate. I decided to give it a whirl last night. Ohmyohmy! It said that it would get hot, not to worry it's supposed to, and to expect your skin to be red from 30 min - 2 hours after. They did not lie. About 3 min in it warms up, and continues to do so. I thought it felt wonderful. It didn't feel super uncomfortable until I washed it off, but I read that it will cool down as soon as you apply toner. I used my gentle sweet red rose toner and in a min or so... Ah!! I looked sunburnt for about 45 and then my skin looked amazing. I am in love with this stuff. I shall marry it

I'm sorry, Rou. That had to be hard.

I don't know how some people use stuff like that 3x a week or more. I was gentle when I rubbed it in for a few min because the almond bits are deeper exfoliation (I had one with corn starch that was like that). Once a week or bi weekly is good enough. You'll rub your skin off if you use it more than that, but people in reviews... I only exfoliate twice a week. I use my Clarisonic along with my Strawberry-Rhubarb (super fine and gentle) exfoliating powder. I was told not to use the Clarisonic more than twice a week. I've seen some pretty nasty YouTube videos where peoples faces have revolted after they used it every day for quite some time. It's too deep of an exfoliation to use every day.

**Plus, if I'm going to buy this higher end organic s**t from Hungary, I'm gonna make it last I'm not going through a jar every 2 weeks. It's highly concentrated, you can dilute a tiny amount of most of their products water, and it works extremely well. I've had 2 of their masks for close to a year now and have only used half of each.

That had to be kind of nice (if that's the right word), for just a moment. I remember you saying your never speaks in your dreams (mine really doesn't either. here and there but it's rare). I do understand why it would get eerie and be hard.

********************speaking of phones******************
I wish my mom would have my dads cell phone turned off. It's almost been a year, she takes it with her when she goes somewhere, and she falls apart every time it rings. Someone called it while I was there yesterday. Telemarketer. I think everyone is aware that he passed away now (he had many friends in other states), and it's safe to let it go. His old Vietnam buddy in California was the main call we were waiting on anyway, and he called sometime ago.

Yesterday, walking Finlay, a man comes out of one of the buildings in my apartment complex and I think (simultaneously) you're cute and what the hell are you wearing (some sort of unitard thing). He looks confused and asks me if I know where he parked his car ("the black audi" ) because he always forgets and since I've been walking the dog maybe I've seen it.

Just now, I was walking Finlay and I see a black audi driving along then I hear two honks, he pulls into a spot, jumps out of his car and says "is now a good time to talk?"
"Sure"...
"I think it was yesterday when I saw you and I couldn't find my car. Truth is, I was at a loss for words because I just think you are so pretty" (I burst out laughing then thanked him)...."and I think your hair is amazing" (I gave a genuine thank you to that) ..."would it be okay if I gave you my card and maybe you could call me"
"okay"
"the only question is: will you call me?"
"I guess we'll find out" and off I walked

A. I was in my pajamas yesterday when he saw me
B. He was wearing a unitard
C. I think he's given me his card before
D. A hair compliment!!!!!!!
E. It did my self esteem good, even if he was a little too forward for my liking

Okay, the lost car thing was just to break the ice, but the unitard gives me pause.

Lol, me too. Also, he did not speak to Finlay either day. He loses points for that, a lot of them. Ignoring my dog + wearing a unitard...

It looked something like this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009WV...sr=1-8&pi=SL75

But he had a t-shirt on underneath. Today he was wearing normal clothes

Perri, he was probably on his way to the gym. the *very* dedicated weight-lifting types at my gym wear those things.

I don't think I could get past it.

I'm a bitter pill, though; some dating adviser would probably say "Go for it!"

I am so frustrated bc I have twin toddlers, a husband who is NEVER home, and I can get nothing done let alone do anything for myself that might be fun/relaxing/creative, etc.

And babysitters aren't an option, because I have to pay them for when I'm at work.

So it's just one of those crappy situations that I have to live with and can do nothing about.

And it sucks.

((Jas)) I'm sorry you're so frustrated. Is there any way you could squeeze some extra time from your sitter during the work week? At least to allow you to go get coffee, sit in a park, go for a walk? Recharging ourselves is so important!

PerriP - not really. It's just so expensive.

Jas, I am so sorry. I have been/still sort of am there. Getting a sitter sounds nice, but is not an option. As they get older, things will get better. I know it seems so far away, but take it day by day.

I know you are probably ready to crash as soon as they do, or stay up and do stuff, and no doubt you hit the ground running in the morning, but is there anyway you can get a little time at night or in the morning?

A small treat for yourself and only yourself will help. (((hugs)))
