There are two, maybe three words I have trouble pronouncing. I'm much better, because I've practiced over the years. I rarely say them incorrectly, but I mentioned it to her and another co-worker

She loves to tell EVERYONE about it and tries to get me to say the words. So annoying. Today, it was with my boss' boss. um no. Plus, I can't even say them the old way most of the time

She also told them that I know every black person that she went to school with. Really?!?! SHUSH IT!

It's probably the same one that left my office. Sorry!

I end up reading the strangest articles sometimes. I was reading about the castor oil/bean plant, and it's many uses in the yard/garden. It keeps moles and other critters away. Can be handy if used a mulch, etc. Of course it has a rather high toxicity level if someone breaks open the bean pods and eats them (which is what I started reading about). Some claim their dog or other animals may have died from castor bean poisoning. Anywho, a rather large brawl about it broke out in the comments. People were discussing how many plants are toxic, it's common, mold on strawberries can poison you so should we ban all strawberries?, these plants are native in many areas and people play in them, etc. Others were cussing them out for having the plant in their yard when they have children. "You're an irresponsible parent and CPS should remove your children!" "Dog killer!" "You're a horrible human being!" on and on. One person cracked me up. They did a rather a lengthy post about CPS needing to removing children from parents who put them in vehicles, or have household cleaners under the kitchen sink Reminded me of the death traps known as baby walkers.

She sounds incredibly annoying. I would have to tell her to shush it, but probably not as nicely.

Am I the only wondering what the words are?

I can't say "buck" or "frog" or "cemetery." (I blame my mother who is Irish.)

I saw his little victory speech last night. The only thing I could think was... Way to set up your 2016 presidential campaign.

I became tickled last night when it was said that dealing the GOP's/Tea Baggers during the 16 day shut down was like trying to herd cats.

It's good to see your government officials acting like school children.

One of my moms cats in very sick. She was sick day before yesterday, okay yesterday, and is really sick again tonight. My mom said she would not eat, is hiding under the bed, and her mom is under there with her. That's the most scary thing to me. They fight. They do not cuddle normally, but her mom is not leaving her side. They are both older cats. Sad. I love that insane little runt. I hope she will be okay, and also hope mom changes her mind about going out of town this weekend. The last time she did that both of her cats had anxiety issues and stayed sick. They have not handled her leaving well at all since dad died. I think they get scared she is not coming back.

I can't wait to have a fun weekend. Laid back fun. The bff is coming over tonight and tomorrow. Saturday will be our annual horror-fest. Now I just have to finish cleaning/disinfecting the house.

Thanks, Perri. I will. I am going to call and check on her soon. She is a little piggy, and never passes up food, so that is highly abnormal for her.

ETA: She is at least out from under the bed, ate a few bites, drank some water, sat with my mom for a little while, and is now enjoying a sunny spot. She has a fever, her eyes look weak, and her face is swollen. Not good. My mom is going to visit my brother and her youngest grandsons this weekend. She has no extra $ for the vet and neither do I. What do you do? You end up with a $300 bill every time you go there, and I have a feeling they would recommend that she be put down. I can never say yes to that, for several reasons. She has been dropping weight for a little while, her bone structure feels different... It came with age. She was the runt and had the most problems as a kitten, and now as an older cat.

I've never had a cat put down, but I am more used to cats who go off in the woods to die or go down fighting. This particular liter has has been the first indoor cats we have ever had, in 32 years of owning them. Dogs... We've had to put a few down ourselves, when there was absolutely no other option, but I am more used to animals who go naturally. I despise it when someone suggests otherwise (because cats don't do anything until they are ready).
