Something's up, I can't log in from a computer. It either says my password is wrong, or takes me to the main page, still not logged in.

For realz? I was just messing around last night looking for a gag gift for someone, and saw that....somewhere. I will find it again, I'm pretty sure I can retrace my steps. I will hopefully be back soon.

eta: Ha! That wasn't as difficult as I thought. Here you are, m'dear.

Love it — mean it! Thanks, B!

Curly Canadian, that adorable dog looks almost exactly like my own Mia. Just looking at that pic makes me want to rush home and kiss her nose and big flat head until she gets too excited and sits on and squashes me.

What's the new girl's name?

Multiple yawns. I was looking forward to sleeping as late as my body wanted/needed but so much for that. Here we go with driving my mom (I'm going to start calling her Ms Daisy) all over the place again. This will probably take up large portions of all my days off. If the mechanics charge her for this repair, I will throw a fit. She paid $1700 for them to not do jack the last time.

I like the new DSW Savvy Shoe Lovers fall add campaign (though I have never been in one, don't know if we have one in the area). They nailed the whole 70's & 90's mixed theme and did a really good job on makeup. The model looks so much like a young Jerry Hall, who was an obvious inspiration for the 70's theme.

My BFF has successfully placed four out of six cats she rescued from a deceased friend's yard, despite his family giving her hell every step of the way.

I'm so proud of her. She's the best animal mom I know.

Speaking of other completely non important things... I saw something about Princess Caroline of Monaco a few days ago. I had not thought about her or Princess Stephanie since the 80's. I was bored, and had to google. I'm really not one to give two craps about royals but I always did love their mom, Grace Kelly. Anywho, flash back of Caroline & Stephanie and pic's of their daughters...

The last 2 are Stephanie's. Caroline's daughter, Charlotte, is a model. She looks so much like her mom and her (always off her rocker, but kind of cool at times) Aunt. It's uncanny

Don't Caroline and Stephanie look like they are on an episode of Dynasty? Haha.

I know girl friend had enough money to do something about that unibrow. I know there were tweezers and Jolen in the 80's.

Oh Lard, one more time

I just got a text that the newer part timer I worked with this weekend was running his mouth at a fire call talking about how mean we were to him, and kept trying to correct him. The person who texted me told him, "Maybe it's because your not worth a damn" :-/ Nothing could be further from the truth, I'm talking about us being mean. What I think of him and wanted to say (which I fully expressed here) was no where near what I said. I remained completely professional with him. He raised his voice to me, snapped at me, and spoke to me like I was an idiot more times than I can count. And then topped it all off with his innuendo that I had some type of sexual relationship going with my other, married, part time co worker. The only thing we did is give feed back and try to help him, and I did tell him to watch his volume and tone when speaking to me. He fell apart with any suggestion that he was not perfect.

Now my other co worker, I'll give him hell and he will give it right back. We have known each other for years, and kid around like all the other long term employees. I was honest with him and told him that I complained about him picking up the shift and leaving early. He knows better. I told him before hand that I would. He apologized and that was that. I'm still not happy with him, but at least he was adult about a complaint. The other guy can not be adult about training.
