Say It. I Dare You.

No offense to our members in the UK, but if I ever visit the UK; I really don't want to see any kitchens, especially remodeled kitchens. Too many unpleasant flashbacks.
Good gravy! I just watched part of House of Versace. I fell out in the middle and will have to finish it later. I normally don't keep up with designer gossip, but I remember Versace being shot in 97 like it was it yesterday, and wanted to watch this story. Any the who, I was curious about something I saw when I woke up so I googled Donatella's daughter Allegra who I had never heard of. That girl is just sad. I don't know what she currently looks like but the pictures of her during her eating disorder are shocking

I can not stand seeing a girl looking like that! I do not mean it in a mean way either. She is so close to death it is horrifying. I know that she had butt loads of money, has grown up with the best of the best, but I feel bad for her. Her Uncle (who loved her dearly) was gunned down by a spree killer when she was 11, her mom falls apart and becomes a major cocaine addict who terrorized her and her brother until getting help and all of it has been splashed all over the tv and tabloids all of her life... She's bound to have some problems.

Speaking of Donatella. This is why you avoid drugs, over exposure to the sun and body dimorphic disorder. One can not possibly age gracefully, or look more like Jan from The Muppets. For sure, Man. For sure.

Okay, that sounded meaner but it's sadly true. Plastic surgery is not always pretty.

I put my back out on Saturday evening (who'd have thought putting plates to warm in the oven was so dangerous). I suffered through work Sat night but had to call in sick Sunday, first sick night in over two years. It's Monday afternoon now and I'm still sore, can't stand for long periods and am walking like a duck. While I'm usually quite happy to watch TV, it loses it's appeal when I'm doing it cos I can't do anything else. Poo.

Starmie I did not even see your post last night. I am sorry. Nothing is more maddening that *having* to stay in the house and rest. It makes it 10 times harder. I hope you start feeling better soon.

Still can't stand that picture. It seriously makes me want to cry. AND, I am not the only one who has made the Janice/Donatella connection

It's a good thing Jan is one of my favorite Muppets. Little stoner Muppet and uber groovy member of Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.

My body is still on a 6 hour sleeping schedule. I had hope for 7, but this will have to do.

I'm going to have to pull out my Muppet movies today. I think it's The Great Muppet Caper where everyone is talking really loud, they stop, and my favorite Valley Girl Janice is explaining why she wants to walk naked on the beach toward her mother. Snort. It happened in another one, too. She was always having a discussion about nudity.

My back felt a bit better today, I could stand up straight again, yay. Sadly, I'm just too impatient and apparently did too much (had to shop - no food) and now it's gone again. Tomorrow is going to be 35C so a good day to sit around, too hot to do anything else. I'll have a day of tennis watching. Thanks for the good wishes.

fifi - I've seen much worse pics of Allegra in the past, more's the pity, poor girl. Donatella looks nearly as bad as Jocelyn Wildenstein.

In every picture I saw of her in motion, and most where she was just standing, she was clinging on to someone. The headline would say something about that person being her bff and I was thinking, no this person is holding her up. She can not walk on her own. Awful.

Is that the cat woman?

It's winter holiday show time. I have to keep my inventory up :-)
My co-worker was dating this hot Italian guy and I was so happy for her. They were thinking about moving in together. I haven't talke to her in a several of weeks. He's dying. he was two more weeks to live. he is already in a wheelchair and has lost his sight. I feel AWFUL for her. I want to do something for her.

As everyone I know usually says... Well, Hell. That's two deep subjects.
