Hehehe. My co workers 4 year old must have been here this weekend. She is fond of our Forest Service and Smokey The Bear stickers. You can always tell when she finds them. I walked in and found 8 stickers on my locker.

I think my phone is having a break down.

I do not blame people for protesting the minimum wage, in the slightest, but Idk why some are asking for $15+ an hour. It's not going to happen at a fast food joint. Many people with years of education in their specific field do not make $15 an hour. I wish they would raise it. I think it was $4.25 when I was in my late teens & 20's. It went up a bit, gradually, but so does the cost of everything else when min wage is increased. That said, If I ate FF I would be more than happy to do away with the dollar menu and pay 1.50 for a burger so the employees could have a more livable wage.

It's been a good night. Not much going on, which is always a long and boring yet wonderful thing BUT we have a newbie. Not my office. Oh no. A trainee who walked out during the middle of a shift and was given a second chance (why, i do not know), was supposed to come in tonight and did not show. The newbie in question tonight is an officer. He talked on the radio for 8 hours straight. I thought we were going to have to call his shift supervisor. For the love of God, put a muzzle on him! He is finally slowing down a little.

Useless manager is in the office again.

He's useless because he couldn't tell the client I was joining for 8 days. He didn't set up my id so I had no email until today. Then he moans at me for using my own business email to communicate with him.

Have to have a team meeting with him. As I'm freelance if he p*sses me of I can put in a complaint and leave.

after the nightmare that assaulted my eyes yesterday (and continues today but is definitely better), I will not be wearing purple eyeliner or eyeshadow ever again EVER.

Unless, of course, Prince himself asks me to - in which case I would gladly apply it and suffer the consequences

I have brown eyes, so I love purple shadow but some brands do make my eyelids itch. We can be sad and purpleless together

I have brown eyes, too - and I used to be able to wear purples but not in the past 4-5 years. I really do know better. I keep saying that but obviously I haven't integrated the lesson or I would just STOP TRYING. yesterday was the worst it's ever been so perhaps it was enough to get it through my head.

Green eyes here so purple is one of my go to shadows. I probably have more purple than any other color, but lately I have been getting into plummy reds.

And I would do anything Prince asked. I think we know this

What is going on with people today. One of my former co workers was harassed and almost attacked by a drunk guy in his yard. He tried to get in his car with him and attack him. He seriously thought he was going to have to get his gun, and officers almost had to zap him. They try not to do that unless they absolutely have to. Many have been tased, as well as pepper sprayed, so they know what it feels like. They won't use it unless they have to, so I know the guy was out of control.

I personally witnessed a friend (more of an acquaintance) being tased years ago. He was out of his mind on drugs, in a parking lot, and being very violent. Took 3 hits to bring him down. We were all laughing. You had to be there. Some people are just crazy. 6 officers couldn't bring down one person flipping out on some substances.

Anywho, people are very wound up tonight.

ETA: Actually saw 3 of my friends get tased. They deserved it every time, and we were standing around saying, "Stay down you jack ass!" I'm pretty sure that's how the show got started. Trust me, I've done this before.

I wish everyone would go back to saying "urinate" or "urine" or simply "relieved myself/herself/himself."
