Would have loved a heads up that one co workers was taking the week off. For some reason my supervisor always neglects to tell me. I can already tell that I will be ready to pull my hair out by the time I am done with this stretch. One is out and the other is already rattling away about all the stuff she has to do this week. Oranges will be in today or tomorrow, which means she will spend 2-3 hours delivering oranges for her brats. I like her kids, but when it comes to stuff like this they are brats. If you take part in fund raisers, get out there and raise funds. She needs to tell them to come here after school, grab the hand trucks, and start delivering.

On top of that the station my supervisor sits at will be disabled in the next hour, for the rest of the day and it will be a miracle if I can actually get her to move to the other station.

And she has doctors apts tomorrow with no one to work in her place.

I woke up in a good mood but now it's gone.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

OMFG! I am going to slap someone. IT comes in to replace a hard drive and my co worker won't GTFO of their way. They come in, set up their stuff, need the shop vac for just a moment to suck up some dust where our equipment was moved around, did that, and ran back to their office for the rest of their tools. My co worker pulls back out the shop vac and keeps it running forever. Meanwhile phones are ringing and people are calling on the radio. She re arranges the isht IT set out, won't get out of their way, they had to ask her to move, and now she is hovering. They were close to telling her to sit her butt down and stfu. I got up and walked out so she would have to.

Like me, the despise people who hover. Just get out of my way and let me work!

ETA: And I despise someone who bi*ches to our (also off the deep end religious) office supervisor all morning because she wants only the heterosexual IT people to come in to our office and then turns around and acts like she is the best of friends.

I loathe hoverers.

My boss often comes into my cube, stands behind me (HATE!) then reaches for my phone and tries to make calls. He has to stand directly behind me to get to the phone. WHY?? you have an office and a phone.

Or, will stand there while I'm on the phone trying to get my attention - FOR COMPLETELY NON-BUSINESS RELATED REASONS. I'm trying to work, man.

what color scarf/gloves should I make for a 13yo girl with a navy coat? I guess I could do shades of grey but that's not very fun
Something in the berry family?
Bright yellow?Orange?

Yeah okay I'm not much help. Maybe the color of her school or favorite team?
I would have wanted blacks and grays.

Pale blue and aqua. ^

It's freezing cold and windy here! I've had to resort to drinking tea.

Mia-Mimi got a piece of French toast after breakfast out with my brother. She was so stunned when I just handed it over, all she did was smile and bug her eyes, as if to say, "For me?" Then we stopped at a park and she ran all around.

I love my piggy-girl.

Yay! I got cleared to take my boot off (gradual weaning for a few days but still need to wear it for 8 hours tomorrow). I'm very excited. I did decide that yoga tonight may be a bit too soon seeing as how I haven't really used my foot in 3 weeks. Hoping that I can go to class Wednesday. I certainly plan to go slowly. I don't want to wear this boot again.

Go away!

^ and ps on that... it's extra annoying where the office supervisor is concerned because she can not do our job. she has no idea how to do our job. she just stands over your shoulder and looks.

one minute she tells you not to ever cut a caller off while they are speaking. oh we have gotten so many complaints about you interrupting people and it hurts their feelings. you can take the time to let them finish because sometimes people just need to talk. are you high? if i have a heart attack/stroke/seizure/domestic/murder on hold i can not wait for 15 minutes while someone tells me his girlfriend cheated on him and left him and he wants officers to make her come home. we have to prioritize. we have to occasionally cut people off, explain something, and disconnect. anyway, people start trying to be a little better about that (not that we were bad, just doing our job) and then she starts complaining because 911's are not being answered fast enough. Our score had fallen to around 85% and it needed to be 90% or better, According to something she just read. we try to explain to her then that we shouldn't cut people off to answer other lines, remember.?.?. it's rude and hurts feelings. i also quickly reminded her that we were told, 8 years ago, that we had way too many phones lines in our office. she was told to drop some, by a man who specializes in cell 911's. 2 per dispatcher is prime. we have 4 to 5 each, depending, and at that point only 2 people worked per shift. it was much worse.

She is beyond clueless.

I was feeling good yesterday when I finished working on orders and I headed to the family dinner. I was down to 2 open orders. We completed 19 orders yesterday. Thought it was ok to relax. I just checked. I have 20 open orders how in the heck did that happen? 18 orders in about 24 hours. wow!!
