Oh, it's a work thing. Nothing to do with anybody here.

I just needed a good howl.

Would you think of doing this full time, Scrills? It's awesome that you're that busy!!!!!

If I were closer, I would totally offer to help

I was getting paranoid thinking I was scatty then I realised a guy, a few of the old timers want to get rid off, has been stealing papers from my desk.

He then has the cheek to ask me for a copy!

Funny thing is they are not important so it doesn't matter if they are gone.

He just doesn't like the fact I'm about delivery not saving face so he is being unhelpful.

However within a month when he tries to delay delivery and tries to blame it on the entire team, 4 others will not stand for it.

Rou, that is terrible and always seems to happen just before the holidays. We have had a WNC plant go under in November or December, every year, since the 90's. Makes me sick.

If I had a bottle of Calgon I would demand it take me away, right now. We were not as busy today as we were yesterday, but the calls were rougher. Had dealings with US Marshals, Wildlife going after really brutal poachers who will try to beat you to death or shoot you, etc. I was so glad when it was time to go home, until my co workers ask what happened between me and a particular caller. Apparently every time she calls, she specifically says my name and says lawyers have instructed her to not speak to me. I have no idea who she is.i have never met her or taken a call from her. I did see a memo about her and her boyfriend making several false reports and beware if we take calls from them. I have known her boyfriend for 20+ years. Have not seen him in 4 or 5. He lived across from my best friend when they were kids and teenagers. *He is apparently hitting the crack pipe again* Wtf knows. I'll have to do some digging on that one. She apparently asked one of my male co workers if he was me. He said, um... I'm obviously a man. Lol. My name is not typically associated with boys. That makes me wonder if one of our part timers gave her my name. He gives other co workers names all the time. Even my bosses. I will kick his bald asp.

If it was like this all year, yes, I would consider quitting. I'm working on adding new products to keep the flow of sales more consistent.

I'm supposed to dedicate at least three hours a week working getting sample products

Did you have any GI tests done? Do you know what is causing this? I hope you feel better by the time you read this. Please let us know.
The dr wasn't sure what it was. Years ago I used to get a similar thing but it wasn't as bad and strangely stopped when I got pregnant (son's 19 now so a long time ago). He did mention the possibility of an ulcer and having read up on various differing symptoms, it could well be, lovely. He's put me on Nexium and today I feel fine, the first day in a week and a half that there's been nothing untoward. Such a relief. He said to go back if it doesn't improve and they'll look at doing some tests.

Thanks for the good wishes everyone.

It must be the week for it. After much to-ing and fro-ing and will they/won't they over the past few years, today General Motors have finally pulled the plug on the Holden car plant here in Australia. 1600 jobs here in Adelaide along with all the other manufacturers who supply parts to them, and 1300 in Victoria. They'll have four years to get used to the idea but not a good day today.

I had a feeling my co worker would end up splitting today If a part timer came in. She is beyond nervous. She told her doc about some lower abdominal pain, got a full examination after they found out she had not seen a gynecologist since her 7th grader was born, and they found something. Her regular do doesn't know what. They made an apt for ultra sound, and have rescheduled it 3 times. Yesterday her doctors office called and let her know they were calling gynecologists for her, and making an apt. She started to fall apart then. I tried to calm her down. They still don't know what it is, your ultra sound has not been done yet, and your doc recommending you get a gyn is not the end of the world. That is something recommended for all women, along with yearly visits to them. You're running several years behind on that Child birth several years ago and a bladder tack about 8 years ago does not constitute a check up. She's had fibroids in the past, and I would not count out another.

it's so scary, though, especially when you know you haven't done what you're suppose to be doing
it'd be scary enough if you know that a year ago you were fine - but a dozen or so years?? wow.

It is. By the way she reacted to them calling for her, I am really not sure if she was aware that you're supposed to be checked yearly. I knew they would. Her doc asked if she had one, she told her no. Her doc asked if she wanted one, and she told her "only if you think I need one". Well of course they are going to think you need one, and make sure you are getting your pap's. (I am very glad they called for her) She also seemed confused as to why she needed to see an OBGYN. I told her most had that title :-/ Ugh. Neither one of her parents can read or write and neither are well informed on matters. She can, but she is still a little lost and misinformed when it comes to some things.

Plus, depending on your parents age and other situations, it's been a quick change here for some. Neither one of my parents were born in hospitals. They were delivered in a house by neighbors/kinda-sorta midwives. People didn't have ultra sounds and OBGYN's, and just OBGYN's when I was born. All of our first baby doc's came from Vietnam, and Japan. They delivered most of my generation, and knew every one of us when they saw us in the store years later. But, some still delivered at home. I think she was (she's in her mid 40's and her mom was 14 when she had her) but had the impression you didn't see those doc's unless you were pregnant.

oh wow. I just wonder how that happens. My doctors are very demanding of me "you must get this mammogram by the next time I see you" etc.
I guess they can't really punish you if you don't - but my PCP always checks up with me about what my GYN says/requests and vice versa and even my rheumatologist follows up with "when was your last pap? your last bone density test? your last mammogram?"

^ It all depends on your doctor. Luckily, she has a very good one now. I guess she has not paid attention to our wellness exams for work either. We used to fill out a questionnaire asking when we had our last pap and mammogram, depending on age. They typically follow up and send you a sheet saying you need to do this and that. They didn't include those questions last year. I thought they were rather good ones. *Much better than the questions they added after removing those. Now they just want to know how many times a week you eat meat and if you ever feel sad. No, never. I'm a machine, not human* You will find many stubborn people who will listen to misinformation over doctors here.

So, I guess no one had paid attention to what I wrote on the Sprint Cup Series 2013 schedule posted on our office wall. Please don't ask me why. Someone had been keeping up with who won the races and writing it in. I skipped down to the end of the year and filled in

Your Mama
Your Daddy
Your bald headed Granny

It received no comments from the peanut gallery.
