Say It. I Dare You.

Sometimes a member makes disparaging remarks about a hair type or style when complaining about their own. That can be offensive. We heard you when you said the mods should put something in place to point that out to the offending member, as a reminder. We have done so.

Here is the reminder that will be posted when we receive a report about a post that you feel does the aforementioned;

It is easy to unintentionally be offensive by referencing a hair type or style as a negative, while complaining about your own. Other members may have that hair type and you are therefore indirectly insulting them. Be aware of this when wording complaints about your own hair.

Please pm me with any questions.
Claudine, you are right, most of the other members don't have paws.

You are not alone. We are the lovers of hair, but not frozen paws!

Scrills!! I love the adventure book, but get back to work

I sincerely hope everything is in working order when I get back to work. The upgrades and updates they are doing are horrible. Someone with 20/20 vision needs a magnifying glass to read the screens. IT says they can not do anything to fix it, we have magnified everything as far as it will go, and the company that supplies our programs says they have no way to fix it. Deal with it, and enjoy the eye strain.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

^ The same things happened to our radios. They got a new touch screen version, got new monitors, set it up, and it is 2x smaller than our 17" screen. It can not be magnified without going off the screen. Again, we apologize to your employees who wear glasses.

Every Breath You Take... Wow. I could never tire of that dark and twisted song, especially now. The Police could conjure so many feelings and emotions with the subject matter they tackled. I once read that Sting was very perplexed by the number of people who thought the song was positive and good. He woke up in the middle of the night, with part of the lyrics in his mind. He went to the piano, and wrote it in 30 minutes. He was dreaming of Surveillance, control, Big Brother, jealousy, etc. The song is incredibly sinister and disturbing. A couple once told him it was their wedding song and he thought... Good luck with that!

Every breath you take
Every move you make
Every bond you break
Every step you take
I'll be watching you

Every single day
Every word you say
Every game you play
Every night you stay
I'll be watching you

O can't you see
You belong to me
How my poor heart aches with every step you take

Every move you make
Every vow you break
Every smile you fake
Every claim you stake
I'll be watching you

Since you've gone I been lost without a trace
I dream at night I can only see your face
I look around but it's you I can't replace
I feel so cold and I long for your embrace
I keep crying baby, baby please

Every move you make
Every vow you break
Every smile you fake
Every claim you stake
I'll be watching you

I'm excited about tomorrow (or monday, it depends) !! I get to celebrate the besties birthday. It's already passed but he had a crappy b-day and woke up to 2 flat tires and had to spend most his money getting them fixed. He gets a do over, and a cup cake.

Grrrrrr! I hate constant updates that take forever.

Sadly yes, it's normal. This is why I dread summer and complain bitterly about it, I hate it. Odd days here and there I can just about cope with but when we have days and weeks on end with temps hovering around 40 I'm far removed from my happy place. I think I get a kind of seasonal affective disorder that puts me in a funk.

I can understand that. I get sick in extremely hot weather.

Australia's weather confuses me. It almost sounds desert-like, but I know it's very green.

Btw, saw Wil Anderson at a comedy show last night. He was far more animated than I expected, based on his podcast. He's a cutie.

Medium texture, normal porosity, normal elasticity
Is it passive aggressive to just not listen to my vm because I don't want to talk to anyone (and I really don't want to talk to the person who called)
If I listen I'll feel obligated to respond. And I don't want to.
I suppose if I put my phone down I'll probably forget the vm is even there

Good luck Skorpio, I hope you can make it.
2/c and some 3A.
Protein sensitive but can use occasionally
Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Stylers: Mix Curls in a Bottle into everything for shine. Terrible pj
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.
Every day is a gift
