I would love to watch Square Pegs right now. It's been years. I was in 3rd grade when it aired, but I loved that show.

It's sad that the guy who played Johnny "Slash" died of Aids a few years later. He was New Wave Cool.

Almost died when I came across pictures of this blue dress

Attachment 41649

And more of the colored tights

Attachment 41650

Holy kids in shoulder pads! In elementary school I had a dark pink dress that was identical except it had a higher neck line and 2 black buttons on the waist. I wore it with electric blue tights, an electric blue bow in my hair, and black kitten heels. I loved that damn dress as much as I loved my Annie dress with the sailor collar. I had completely forgotten about it but I don't know how. I wore it every chance I got

Ah, end of the 70's and start of the 80's. Such a fun hot mess.

I have no idea what to think about the Texas man receiving death threats after winning a lottery to hunt a black rhino. The thought of someone hunting an animal on the most critical of endangered species lists makes me sick, period. The thought of people threatening to kill his toddler makes me sicker. Contain yourself, or seek some professional help. His little girl has nothing to do with it.

I do understand it is sponsored by Namibia, and he is only allowed to hunt an older male who is a danger to young black rhino's himself. I can not say I know all the in's and outs with that particular animal but I am familiar with several males killing the young in numerous species of animals. They will kill their own, kill if they are hungry, kill to free up a female to mate again, and kill to reduce competition. The older they get, the more threatened they feel.

They also say the $350,000 he spent goes toward helping the species. I would hope so. Kind of an odd lottery, but one that raises attention for sure.

ETF: If all is completely on the up and up, it is one of those situations where you have limited options. Tranquilize the old b**tard (she said jovially) and move him to a sanctuary where he lived out the rest of his numbered days in complete stress, solitude and captivity which he would not know, understand, or be able to adjust to OR put him down? What is more humane. Put him under and put him out or raise some money to help the others in the process? It's a lose/lose in most cases, and at this point the guy whose family is being threatened is doing more to help than the nose pickers making the threats. Strange but true.

Poodle grooming class has started up again. I had the prettiest little girl today. A yorkie poo. Poor thing so matted we couldn't actually find her girl parts when we were trying to fix her up. I forgot before and after pics but she positively pranced on her post groom walk. Bless her

Awww. Few things are better than prancing poodles. I happened to be in a neighboring town when they had their Christmas Parade a few years ago and 2 beautiful white poodles (with red ribbons) kicked off the march. Forget the people! They stole the show.

Really not looking forward to the next several nights. If I can make it home on the morning that my night shifts end, I will be happy. Chance of snow and sub freezing temps for 3 straight days afterward. It's not going to be pretty.

I have the strangest mix of songs stuck in my head right now. One minute I am singing the chorus to Just by Radiohead

You do it to yourself, you do
And that's what really hurts
Is that you do it to yourself
Just you, you and no one else
You do it to yourself...

The next I am singing part of Freak Momma by Sir Mix A Lot and Mudhoney.

Wine, wine, wine sexy dancer
No need to romance her

It's getting a touch annoying, but random and funny. I have not heard either song in quite some time.

Yeah, my dad (who is in jail) was moved to a location on hour away from here. We don't know how long he's going to be there, but visiting hours overlapped the IKEA trip so I, along with 5 others went to see him. He got so emotional when he saw my 6yo nephew

^ Congrats!!

If Frank were alive I really would not see the need to do a paternity test on Ronan Farrow.

It's pretty obvious that Mia lied her butt off on that one.

Woody Allen, you are not the father.

*When it comes to all the other stuff... Whatever! I don't know what to think about any of them on a personal level. Running off with an adult adopted child, not cool. Having affairs yourself and telling lies about the paternity of your child, not cool. Tweeting about your daughter and siblings alleged molestation during the Globes likes it's nothing, not cool. The allegations all together, not cool and wfkwtf? I like Woody's movies, and I have enjoyed Mia in several roles. I'll leave it at that. It's not wise to delve any deeper into that family.

No. No. No. Sorry. I do still have to ask, like I had to ask in the 90's... Who would find nude pictures of your adult adopted daughter, in the possession of your husband, find out they are having an affair, and publicly accuse him of molesting your 7 year old daughter, while continuing to work on a film with him? Mia, that's who.

Makes no sense what so ever. Just like publicly announcing that you were having a long time affair with your dead ex husband, and he is the father of a child who you claimed was fathered by another man, therefore damaging your credibility to some extent, a few months before you rehash the child molestation allegations and award season. *I also meant to mention* just before your son's show starts on MSNBC. Again, it makes no sense and is a little too choreographed, Twitter rants and all. I never knew what to think about that anyway. I know the girl was examined and found to be "in tact" but Mia had Woody in therapy for what she called an intense relationship with the child, and f**k all. Neither should have procreated.

And Ms. Mia had a situation last week that left me feeling like I couldn't leave her for the six hours we'd have been gone. So instead, she met some sled dogs and we talked with their people about pulling harnesses, since she's such a little tugboat.

She also got two big treats, only one of which she ate. Now there are crumbs all over my back seat. But why complain? I try not to think about all the damage the dogs have done to my car. It masks my own carelessness.

Can not blame my friend for being upset right now. His employer started taking 19% of their credit card tips to share with bartenders and busers, but they are still taking the 19% during week nights when no bus boys or bartenders work.

I really hope it stops snowing soon. I left my car at the top of the mountain and am starting to wonder if I will be able to drive back out of here when it is time for my next work shifts. At this point it's looking like more than what was forecasted.
