I have googled this and apparently it is a debate - but mostly (I think) along the lines of "how much soup" you are having. One cup being a snack, a bowl with bread or croutons or whatever being a meal.

I eat a salad for lunch. So I will say "I'm having soup and salad for lunch, just spaced 2 hours apart"

I did find this proof explaining why soup is a snack but quite honestly it had too many words for me to read

Yes, I think patella problems are fairly common in small breeds (large, too). Some of the risk can be mitigated by buying from a breeder who OFA's patellas, plus whatever other genetic disorders are common in the breed. It's a crapshoot with rescues, of course, but rescues are worth it anyway. My dog now has hip dysplasia despite being very mixed--so much for hybrid vigor. Poor thing was really stiff this morning and is going to the vet tomorrow.

This morning my coworker laughed at me and said, "soup is not a snack"

can soup be a snack?
I was going to say it's not a snack, and then I remembered I sometimes have it as a snack. I am not a hypocrite, so now I'm firmly on the "snack" side..

Scrills!! That is great. And I second Rou.

Nothing like being on antibiotics for 8 days and not being able to tell a difference what so ever. At this point I am not sure if it's the sinus infection or pressure and dry cold air.

I think soup can be a snack. I've seen soups served as an appetizer in some restaurants, but I am soup lover and therefore it can be anything it wants to be.

I have a coworker that naturally has a very loud voice and laughs incessantly. At everything. I asked her a question and she practically screamed in my ear. I have such a headache right now and it just throbbed when I was talking to her. I've asked her to be quieter but it only lasts a few hours and she's back at her natural volume. I just can't deal with it today.

What do you mean? You thought unrequited love was ... what? You didn't realize it was unrequited? Cryptic - explain please, if you care to.

I'm just going to send a hug. I've found that most conversations about unrequited love require hugs

My mom was so sad today. She and all of her siblings went to one of her sisters houses for lunch. She was there most of the day. Her oldest brother, who she is the closest to out of her 7 siblings, is not doing well. He has dementia and did not know who she was. She came home and called me crying her eyes out. Her mom had it too and she held it together much better when it came to her. It broke my heart. I am closest to my oldest brother and I could semi relate to what that would be like. He's in good health other than his mental state, but he went down hill so quickly after his wife died.

Not good. Dispatch offices for State Troopers have been downsized and consolidated in a few different areas. They often only have 2 dispatchers working and are now dispatching for troopers in 30 + different counties. That makes me cringe. So dangerous, especially when you talk wide spread snow.

That's okay. They will learn, the hard way. But people better direct their anger toward the correct place.

Aw, you're so kind, Perri and company.

No hug needed. I just think that the reality is a bit different from what I thought at the time I wrote about an "unrequited love." The truth is, whatever exists between a certain fellow and I is on the very minor side, and hardly worth an "unrequited love" description.

It's okay. I just felt silly having inflated something minor into something major(ish). It's been bugging me.

It figures. The insurance co will not approve my co workers hysterectomy at the moment. Forget the fact that they removed around 9 patches of pre cancerous cells and she has chronic pain. They want her to do hormone therapy instead.

I had two friends go through that game. Both of them worked towards a hysterectomy for 2-3 years before finally approved. Insanity.

Story of my life, sister. We've all been there, I think. I shudder to think the things I thought mattered ten years ago. even two or three years ago. It's just so hard to gain perspective in the moment.

I'm sorry to hear about your family. Listening to your mother cry is a horrible feeling.

BRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!

Will no one else say it?!

The weather has gone insane and become nearly unbearable! Far below zero and freezing winds, to boot. And there's no end in sight.

We have frozen paws and creaking trees and it's like the start of terrifying fairy tale.

Sign me,
This upper lip is frozen stiff.
