It's crazy! She has had 3 children. Her first was a still born son, and then she had 2 girls. She is in her 40's. she had her tubes tied years ago. She did not have a period for some time but recently started experiencing non stop stomach and uterus pain and started bleeding. That's when found everything. Based on a test she apparently has the genetic marker for an increased risk of cervical cancer as well all the precancerous cells found on her lining and walls. You would think one would say... Preventative measure. No brainer! But of course not. A very nice, and very upset, woman from the insurance co called her back before we left work and told her they want to do birth control, to be exact. BC for 3 months. Idk what that is supposed to accomplish. It's a lower dose and she only takes 10 pills a month.

Her mom had it too and she held it together much better when it came to her. It broke my heart. I am closest to my oldest brother and I could semi relate to what that would be like. He's in good health other than his mental state, but he went down hill so quickly after his wife died.
I'm sorry to hear about your family. Listening to your mother cry is a horrible feeling.
Thank you. It is. I can't hear her cry without crying. It's something she does not do often.

I love my Uncle Jr, and I hate this but it has devastated my mom and her sisters. He apparently started getting angry and violent, which is a common. Who can blame a person when you don't even recognize anyone or yourself? They put him on meds to keep him calm and he can hardly speak now. She said he managed to say one sentence before they left, and he smiled once. I know that is so hard. He was the brother that picked her up whenever he could, let her borrow his car, etc. They only had 2 cars in a family of 10, and my mom walked quite a distance to work every day. He made sure the baby sister had help any time he could. It hurts to see him not be able to help himself now. She'll kick in soon though. Incredibly strong woman. She just has to get over the initial shock. She was fantastic with her mom.

It's an awful disease. I think it must be hard seeing a sibling going through it, we kind of expect to have to see our parents health deteriorate but siblings, not so much. I had an acquaintance who had Alzheimers (in her early 50's) and seeing her mum at the funeral was dreadful - can you imagine seeing your child suffer through it? Makes me shudder. I hope your mum's ok.

Thank's Starmie. You are right. You do expect to see your parents go through it more so than siblings, and I could not even imagine what it would be like for a parent watching their child go through it. That would be incredibly hard

It's already one of those morning. Sorry Sir. I don' have a medical card for "looks like demonic possession in the movies". :-/

It would be funny if I did. Delta response to demonic possession. You might the Chaplin. A priest would be better but I know they are kind of hard to find here.

You have to love forecast inaccuracy. They said we might get q light dusting of snow today but didn't expect much. I just ran out for a 2 second break. We are currently having a ice storm and have around 35 wrecks, in a 35 minute period.

How does this thing work? Why are the instructions so vague?

I think they should read, "To charge in advance of starting your vehicle, be sure to power for at least x hours."

Would that be so hard? I think not.

Instruction manuals are written in Swahili, and translated by Japanese cabdrivers into French pig latin. It always says that in the fine print.

Frustrating!!!

Jeebus, what a day. Main highways had to be closed because people will not slow down, 3 structure fires, numerous medical calls during this mess. Ugh! I don't get it. It's one thing if a person is having problems at that time but people wait while a person is sick all day long. They put off calling, put off calling, put off calling, and then call during an ice storm. I hate it because 900 wrecks are going on and you are sending ambulances to bull isht alpha calls. Idk why you would put it off all day and then decide the best time to travel is when your drive is a solid sheet of ice. You might as well wait some more.

* I won't even bother telling you how many cars have flipped into rivers today (that would be effing miserable cold). Again, people will not slow down. It's 27 degrees and sleet is falling from the sky. That = major ice.

I am so ready for bed, and even more ready for a sunny day in the 40's or 50's tomorrow. It's only one day, and then we are back to cold, but it will be great. This ice can suck it, momentarily.

I hate it when my body gets used to 6 or 7 hours of sleep and I pop up after 6 hours on a day I can sleep late.

I just read the documentary series Real Sex is back on HBO. It's called Sex//Now. That should be interesting. Real Sex covered all kind of stuff. Voyeur Motels, foot fetishes, special couples retreats, life like sex dolls, clown fetishes, burlesque, on and on from 1990-2009. The first episode of Sex//Now covers common practices during sex in the information age. Web cams, interactive services and toys. All were throughly covered on RS or Katie Morgan Porn 101 (which was far more informative and funny than I first imagined) but I'm sure there are some updates.

Some seemed to have the impression that they had paid actors on this Real Sex. The episodes were only released a few times a year and it was documentary program. It gave a birds eye view into sex practices from the more mundane to the more extreme. Rather fascinating.

so, usually i create a thread to discuss red carpet dresses, but i couldn't bear to watch the red carpet last night for the Grammys because:

a) the interviews seemed even MORE vapid than usual; and

b) so many of those outfits were truly hideous!

See, this is why he must die!!!!!!!

________

Last week, from Monday to Friday, I was lucky to scrape up 8 orders. I left it alone, and then on Sunday I doubled that number and my 8 orders had grown to 19. Closed off those yesterday. Checked today and I already have 8 orders. Wow!
