I hate tri-lights when the colors don't blend together. I also hate chunky highlighting. Not me! Give me peekaboo.

I don't think it could have possibly SUCKED that badly -really.
You are articulate, well organized and it looked good - it can't have sucked.

No. I had to let that go. It's been a couple of months. I didn't announce it because 1) I didn't want to talk about it 2) I was still holding on (and talking to him daily)

I'm in a much better place now :-)

I've been talking to a pricipal, a firefighter and a photographer, lol

If I have to defend my decision to become a working actor to one more person I am going to scream. I cannot stand the ignorant people who have not worked in this industry talking down to me, and worst of all so many of these people are my friends.

There is so much more to acting than being famous, and there are hundreds and thousand of actors working every day. Every single person who speaks a single line in a TV show or movie is a paid actor, every person you see in a commercial is an actor, there are actors of all shapes/colours/ages needed at all times! The Angelina Jolie's and Brad Pitt's of the acting world are a very, very small percentage of all the working actors out there.

Everything you bring up I have thought about a thousand times over, it's not like I've never considered that I might not make it or the pay won't be enough. Yes there are a ton of actors out there, but there are also a ton of everything's and I know a lot more of my acting friends working than my chemistry or programming friends.

I shouldn't have to defend myself every time this comes up, or be ashamed of my decision when it's what I want to do and I'm working hard to make it happen. The way people react you would think I've told them I'm becoming a nun or pornstar. They might even think those routes were more realistic.

And I didn't even get what I wanted. It's beautiful though. Things had just gone crazy after the last color she put on. I had several inches of new growth and 2 different shades of faded color. We had to do a bleach wash, tone, and then very subtle and beautiful highlights. I'll be good to go for a while now.

*I had completely forgotten what kind of hell being pulled through a cap is. I have been doing foil since the late 90's. I was pretty sure the cap she put on my head was for infants too. I'll spare you the details of the Young Republican Millennials for Satan meeting going on through most of my appointment. *I spared them my, "You'll grow out of Satanism (i know no current satanists but met many in my teens and 20's), but I can't help you with the Republican thing" lecture. Lol. She's closer to a college and gets all the annoying people.

I can't help but give a dirty look to girls when they complain how horrible their hair looks because they didn't straighten it. Like a girl in my class who swore her hair looked like crap because it wasn't straight... This girl didn't even have half of a wave in her hair. I'm talking the very bottom of her had a tiny, itty bitty swerve in it -___-

Granted I have never taken calls from that particular company but but most are a crock. They call us, we send someone. Occasionally they neglect to call us back and tell us homeowners are on scene and gave a proper pass code. No need for an officer.Or homeowners told us they burnt bacon, cancel the fire alarm. Fire department is not needed.

Some people are scared clueless when it comes to allergic reactions from bees. I was just reading over some product reviews and people were saying those with bee sting allergies should not use bee wax. Um... They are allergic to the venom in the sting. There is no venom in bees wax or honey. In fact, honey is beneficial in preventing allergic reactions to pollen, even though there is pollen in it. The more local the better. It helps combat what is in the air around you. Regardless, it has nothing to do with a sting. If someone is allergic to a product that contains bees wax it is a separate issue, or some other ingredient causing the problem. Hope that sinks in for Ms. Oh My God! I was going to make soap crayons for my class and harden them with bee's wax!! I would have hurt my students with bee allergies :-/
