She was once an excellent employee but near the end she was more fried than burnt out, and taking it out on everyone around her. She often screamed at her co workers. They could not do anything right, and that included things like how people sat in their chair or walked into the kitchen. I only share that to say perhaps there is hope. Maybe you could address some issues and ask for a change, a.s.a.p.

You did say she was expecting you to get work done w/o the proper info to do it, correct? It's more a matter of her giving limited information and expecting complete and accurate work rather than her being a perfectionist and expecting everything in her department to be done a specific way?

No, if I say left, she says right.

Today, she reemed me out for 20 minutes about how she didn't like the format of a document I put together. It was her format. I just added items to the list.

She wants in another format. The format that she wants is one I created and she spent a year complaining about about so I had to change it.

She wants this done ASAP. It doesn't need to done until June. So I will spend today working on it and tomorrow she will call me to ask me why I don't have something completely different completed.

Apparently, this will just go on and on
So, we have some a**hole(s) in my area starting wild fires. I hate that. It's fairly common for stupid kids to start grass fires on the side of the road, but this year someone is starting large wild fires near homes in a few different counties. Every time I turn on the news I see a story. That makes me so mad. They are destroying the homes and habitats of numerous animals and endangering the lives of people. It's one thing when a fire gets out by mistake, but you have to be pretty effed up to enjoy burning acres of land.

I can not even explain how agitated and angry I am right now. I'm about to go Walking Tall on some people. Me and a big a** stick on a mission.

Scrills I don't know if it's possible but can you (at least going forward) make her put her instruction in writing? At leas then when/if you go to HR or to her boss you have documentation?

I know it's not always possible, I was in a similar situation but almost everything was verbal, so I ended up in a "she said.. 'No I didn't'" merry go round.

I'm sorry, Scrills. It sounds like an awful situation.

This sh*t just goes on and on. I can't believe he's gone. I feel like I can't stand it. I don't even know if I believe in God, but I am so angry and disgusted with all this that I'd like to tear into anyone who tells me/us that it was "his plan."

I felt so confused and disbelieveing when my BFF called me with the news. If I weren't feeling exhausted and lost and sad I'd want to destroy something.

I hate this life sometimes. I hate it. It's brutal and unfair.

Sorry, Claudine.

I jinxed myself. It's all to hell tonight, and if the SHP dispatch does not stop with the attitude I am going to crawl through the computer. I know they are slammed. I know they have been put in a bad situation due to cut backs and I feel for them, but they are not the only ones who get busy. So sorry I neglected one piece of information in a message, because I was literally answering around 30 some 911's as I was typing it to them and answering 3 different departments on the radio. Our troopers listen, they had already heard it, and I sent you a msg including it as soon as I caught my non important mistake. Don't start acting all high and mighty and asking me if I have done this and that in relation to another call. Sorry, a truck slamming into a car and spreading it all over the high way trumps a flat tire. I'll get back to it when I can. Yes, you dispatch for troopers in several different counties. I dispatch for them, 2 other LEO agencies, 7 Fire Departments and 2 different rescue squads and 2 different EMS departments. I would say we are even, but really, we are not. You have 2-4 troopers on duty in each county. I have more people than that in every department.

I bet they received the official complaint from troopers in our area and are upset. Absolutely no need to blame us, even though they might think there is because the proof of their mistakes came time & date stamped from our office. We did not request it. We did not make the complaint. We had no idea there was problem until we were asked to print documentation on specific calls. That is all we did. I have a feeling we will be doing again very soon.

Our hospital must be having a hard time with new hires. For the majority of 10 years they have had professional employees who will joke with you once they get to know you but keep it all business when need be. For the past several months I have had some of the weirdest phone conversations with the ER staff. They answer the phone speaking in fake accents and say the most outlandish isht. *If I am calling to inform you of a car rushing to the hospital with patient in bad shape on board I don't have time for tea and crumpets. Take notes and tell the doctors & nurses* One person just informed me of an animal bite and during the conversation he randomly mentioned several roads he had driven down recently which had houses that needed to burn down. "I've been down that road. Saw some houses that needed to burn down. Some didn't, but some do". WHAT THE WHAT? Pyro. Needless to say these new employees do not stay long but another whackadoodle is always waiting in the wings. Can no one be professional when dealing with a work related call.

You know I am bored when I look at celeb gossip. I get my fill from what invades the news. Actually I was bored looking at criticism of a celeb starvation diet when I came across this...

http://radaronline.com/exclusives/20...te-complaints/

Yeah, it's a little creepy that so many B List Celebrities (they must be grading on a curve) have been paid large sums of money to go on a date with this 81 year old Austrian business man. $500,000 in Kim's case. All the initial reports seemed to say she flew in, ditched him to film her show, and refused to follow the agreed upon schedule for the date. Now she is saying he kept trying to get her alone and she was subjected to racist harassment by staff at the Opera Ball.

Apparently Pam Anderson, Paris Hilton and the like have gone before her.

O-O @ his comment, "I got fifteen Botox shots. What's good for Kim is good for me too".

ETA: Wow! It takes about 15 minutes of reading about Kim and Kanye to get a pounding headache. I don't know what to think. I am already not fond of her because I really can't stand reality tartlets of that nature. I like some of his music but I have thought he has anger issues and mental health problems for some time. Now he is apparently ranting on stage more than preforming which is angering his fans, making claims that specific members of the press have problems with his interracial relationship while being oblivious to the fact that the ones he made claims against are or have been in interracial relationships themselves And Kim seems to agree with him, has made claims about people attacking her for being in an interracial relationship several times in the last few months that always (based on what I read) involves some video footage but never has documentation of her claims. Whew. I don't know how people follow all this. I'll go back to being oblivious about their relationship.

We have many accidents. People were burning brush piles on a dry day with 10% humidity and wind not long ago. They will take off in a split second in those conditions. People do not put out camp fires well, throw out cigarettes... All the commons. It is very disheartening when they find evidence that an accelerant was used.

The Forest Service is doing a 120 acre prescribed burn a few hours from my town next week (Park Service land) That will be a whopper, but I have confidence in the department here. They plan it for days with optimal conditions and have numerous people there to keep a very close watch, and already have lines dug. It's fantastic training for new recruits and it helps animal habitats. It does seem strange to fight fire with fire, but those burns actually attract animals back to the area. Quite different than a raging fire that is unattended, close to homes, and takes some time for units to respond to.

Neither are fun for dispatch! We get 911's all day when prescribed burns are done here. I see smoke! There is smoke! But I don't see fire. You can't blame people. They are doing exactly what they should do. The FS notifies papers, news stations, and put info out online but the vast majority still do not hear about it.

PerriP, this is all over the news this morning.

http://m.etonline.com/news/143866_ET...ent/index.html

Paparazzi caused the car wreck by chasing after Paula Patton & Robin Thicke's 3 year old son to get picture of him. He was with his Grandma and Paula's assistant. Neither celebrity parent was with him. Luckily the little fella is okay. Dad leaves home, strange people are chasing you... Rather frightening for a child. I hope this helps more people take the stand.

I'm sick and tired of this story anyway. ABC, NBC, CNN... Whatever. It's all over every channel like it's the most important thing in the world. People going on and on like a photo of him grabbing a girls a** or that VMA performance ended their 900 year relationship. Yes, it was that alone. I am sure they had no problems before this. Rah!! Stfu already. If you are going to get mad at something, get mad at children's lives being put in danger.
