That's just scary. And sad.

And I read that someone came up to Kim at that dinner in blackface pretending to be kanye and that is why she left (but who knows? With all of the attention they've been trying to get about the inter racial thing no telling what really transpired)

Well, that's the thing. I briefly saw something on world news about Kanye beating up that kid but I didn't even pay attention to it. I read something about it, the supposed incident at the Opera Ball and a few other accusations. I was reading comments from people who apparently follow every story about them and they were all discussing the video footage that Kim releases about the incidents. Most were saying it shows something completely opposite of what she says and somehow they never manage to capture the incident. Not only that but they never file a police report. Just make claims about meeting with lawyers. She has already said she has video of SOME of the incidents at the Opera Ball. Who knows. General sentiment seemed to be they are the boy & girl who cried wolf. It would be unfortunate if something actually happens and no one believes them.

My general impression of them is I have no idea how they fit their heads through doors.

*The story with Robin & Paula's son is sad. The media is acting ravenous. It is ridiculous. I would like to see people get back to some form of responsible journalism.

^ Oh, one more thing on K&K. The followers did bring up an interesting point which I looked at myself. The 18 year old that he supposedly, violently, beat up... No pictures of it. One pic of him after the assault

Say It. I Dare You.-imageuploadedbycurltalk1393595652.939115.jpg

He reportedly hit him 30 times while a receptionist screamed bloody murder, begging him to stop, before she knocked him off the boy and the case was reportedly settled out of court for $250,000. Why? The boy had no injuries.

What? (Idk. Perhaps he hits like a powder puff)

The media goes to the ends of the earth to get booking videos from police stations, mug shots, photos of injuries, interviewing children's physicians to confirm claims that it's safe to take a baby outside but not a thing on this one.

I should have turned my phone ringer off. I... I am fed up again. My friend has now been crying uncontrollably for 4 days straight. He goes back to work tomorrow. I am just trying to be nice, cheer him up, make him laugh, get him to take a deep breath & put an ice pack on his eyes. I don't know about you but I look like a swollen mutant if I cry hard. He got defensive and went into a... I am not going to stop crying! I want to cry! I cried the last time I went to work and they sent me home. I'm sick of keeping isht bottled up. Okay then, effing cry. Just trying to help because I personally would not want to sob all over my tables or risk my employer sending me home for a second shift in a row. I'm far too exhausted for this.

And pardon if I sound mean but the last time my heart was broken, the first time it had been broken in many years, he ignored me for 3 weeks. He can't deal with anyones emotions but his own, and I get a defensive melt down every time he needs me, and he needs me non stop. Nothing I say is right.

fifi, I'm giving you permission to put him on ignore for a little while.
not that you need my permission, but in case you can't give yourself permission

his roller coaster has *ME* all discombobulated and I don't have to interact with him - he needs someone professional perhaps, and it's not fair to drain you in lieu of finding some help

Scrills I don't know if it's possible but can you (at least going forward) make her put her instruction in writing? At leas then when/if you go to HR or to her boss you have documentation?

I know it's not always possible, I was in a similar situation but almost everything was verbal, so I ended up in a "she said.. 'No I didn't'" merry go round.

CYA if you can, Scrills

Seriously? I order a cab for one of our clients and it decides to be over 33 minutes late! This poor girl is sitting here bored and ready to go. She shouldn't have to wait if I put the order for a specific freaking time! I hate the cabs around here! Ugh!

And I called and they said, we don't have an ETA, but it should be there shortly. WHAT?!!? Where is it? How many miles away? People that don't want to do their jobs make me angry!

At some point you have to pull yourself up by your boot straps and make it through the day. He had laid out for several shifts and then got sent home because he was a mess. He can't keep doing this. To top it all off he cancelled his much needed doctors appointment.

I hope I can work on my porch and the outside of the house tomorrow. I'm ready to decorate, though I look giant solar flower obsessed. Omg! You should see my tree face. I bought it a few weeks ago. It's wooden eyes, nose and a mouth. I have to pick the perfect tree to attach it to.

I am fuming right now. I promised a client we'd get her tax return done for her by the end of the day but I can't sign it and she needs the return to fill out her FAFSA forms. I gave it to someone to review for me yesterday and she left early today, and didn't finish it. She didn't even tell me she didn't finish it, I just saw it sitting on her desk because I went to find out what had happened to it. Now I'm going to have to beg a partner to review it again and sign it so it's ready by the end of the day. People pay for this service so it really annoys me when coworkers act like we are doing them a favor getting things done when they need them.

Rethinking all my products currently. Went back to sulfates and have been doing pretty well since I cut most of my damage out. My porosity has lowered and my hair is more consistent.
Shampoo (gasp): Suave Ocean Breeze
Condish: Mostly Suave Coconut(diluted with water), going through old conditioners to see what might work: GVPCB, Jessicurl Aloeba
PT: Not needed much anymore!
Styler: LALSG, FSG

Go Red WIngs!
Thanks, Scrills. I'm sure you know the latest. It's like an endless sh*t show here. This is going to sound weird, but I feel lost. He was big and gruff and I felt really safe with him nearby, even though in the two years since the murders, I don't think I saw him smile one time. He once lifted my car (with me in it) out of a ditch, and just barely broke a sweat. I just felt protected, knowing he was there. (I'm very close to his wife and there was nothing weird.) Now I feel lost and heartbroken all over again.

I think your current boss is a total jerk. Wth is her problem? I agree with everyone else who says document it.

C191, don't exactly know what is going on where you are but I know what it's like to feel lost and heartbroken.

You know we think you are the bee's knees (or some doggy equivalent)

Sorry, sweetie. Not having a picnic these days, are you? Not being sarcastic here, just...I can relate.

So, we have some a**hole(s) in my area starting wild fires. I hate that. It's fairly common for stupid kids to start grass fires on the side of the road, but this year someone is starting large wild fires near homes in a few different counties. Every time I turn on the news I see a story. That makes me so mad. They are destroying the homes and habitats of numerous animals and endangering the lives of people. It's one thing when a fire gets out by mistake, but you have to be pretty effed up to enjoy burning acres of land.

We have many accidents. People were burning brush piles on a dry day with 10% humidity and wind not long ago. They will take off in a split second in those conditions. People do not put out camp fires well, throw out cigarettes... All the commons. It is very disheartening when they find evidence that an accelerant was used.

It's a very good thing one of my co workers does not actually fight fire. She assists the department while others do that. I get a little taken back when I hear her talk about. In training she would forget what she needed to do because she would space out while admiring the flames. She would never start a fire but she would die in one rather quickly. I'm sure of it, *and while she never had an urge to go in and fight fire, I am glad she fully recognized in training that she is more helpful in other ways. I see how and why that could attract or create some arsonists/pyromaniacs, but you have to be a little off to fully get to that point. You learn it to hopefully stop it.
