Say It. I Dare You.

Today felt more chaotic than usual. Why?
---------------------
As for the splurge, I probably shouldn't have done it, but done it I have.
----------------------------------------
Also, incredibly, I'm still finding Easter chocolates on sale! First, I chomp off the ears.
---------------------------------------------
I know you don't understand why I withdrew. I don't think you realized what an utter hell your neighbors enacted on me. Your strategy of "making nice" while hating doesn't work for me. I wish you realized it's nothing personal.
--------------------------------------------------
Maybe you and I could attend the theater, Sir. I think maybe somewhat formal or distancing events are best. I know you play for the other team, and that's a-okay with me.

Sigh of relief. Other than allergies and anxiety (maybe from the allergy or who knows), he seems to be fine. The labs looked pretty good. She wants to do another lab to make sure. Stress can elevate their glucose levels a touch, but everything seemed fine He got a shot and we talked about a little diet for him.

I have pricked myself with a lancet and checked my own blood sugar, tested my dads numerous times, and helped give him shots but I don't know if I could take heating up and pricking a fuzzy little ear. He would never let me do it. Then shots... I'm gone for 12 hours + at a time, but would have made it work somehow. So glad all the levels looked within a good range, but I absolutely want to double check, do some extras and make sure.

HUGE YAY!!

Someone said the worst vice is advice (terrible pun) but I'm going to offer some anyway - for those of us who work.

A co-worker I thought was a nice person was chatting with me at a social function. I mentioned that X works very hard and I admire that and mentioned some others who I think are really great to work with. My co-worker said X works very hard because he is doing all his lazy boss's work. She then criticized several other people.

I think she is probably right about all of them but reflecting later, it didn't sit well with me that she had nothing good to say about anyone. What will she find about me to criticize behind my back?

Regardless of whether she is correct about my co-workers, I came away with the impression that she will always find something disparaging to say about people and I liked her a lot less and I don't trust her.

Moral of the story - think twice before you say negative things about others unless there's a good reason. It may reflect poorly on you.
2/c and some 3A. Modified CG.
Protein sensitive
Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Conditioners: Curl Junkie Beauticurls Strengthening Conditioner,
Deep condish: Curl Junkie Curl Rehab
Stylers: Mix Curls in a Bottle into everything for shine. Terrible pj
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.
Every day is a gift
I worked with someone like that once (well, I still do but she's on days now so I only see her in passing). At first I found myself agreeing with her about some people but then realised how judgemental and critical she really was so started either disagreeing with her quite vocally or just completely ignoring the comments. When faced with blank looks and no reciprocation on my part she eventually stopped.
I always think it's a bit dangerous in a work situation to be so critical - you never know who has friendships or history with others and you just might put your foot in it.

I need to find a "super awesome" gift for my nephew by Friday. Any suggestions?

sorry. He is turning 7.

I'm going to toys-r-us tonight to find the largest watergun I can find. That will be a start
^ I meant to ask that too, but I doubt it would help you. I bought my oldest nephews gifts all the time but other than Muppets Movies & Games, I am clueless when it comes to the youngest. I mainly get them gift cards and add little something somethings here and there.

Idk what I am going to do now. The oldest of those two just turned 14. Is that possible? Funny Muppet Bookmarks (he is an avid reader) may not get the same great reaction.

Speaking of... Is it possible your nephew is 7 now? Omg. I will never forget that adorable (and hilarious) picture of him when he had his surgery. Bless his heart. He was feeling good.

cp, I thought about your post. I think I'm pretty critical of others, though I keep my thoughts to myself or only share with close friends. But then I realized that if a person is good to animals, I can forgive them almost anything.

IOW, people are confusing (including me).

I hope it's okay! If it's still there at the end of the day, someone should call for help. Perhaps someone from the zoo can assess the situation.

(If the zoo doesn't help, I'll try to find a resource that will.)

I agree with ninja. In fact, if it's still there between 3 - 4:00, I'd start calling then.
The police. They carried it back to the woods. I turned around and wasn't halfway back to the building and the it was already with it's mom. I have pictures of that too.

I got the oldest a lot of science stuff too. He loved it. Anything science related, catching bugs and studying them, etc.
