I have spent the day laying on a bag of frozen peas. Surprisingly, it has helped!!!

I am reporting that I put on my big girl panties and booked a solo cruise
I didn't book the 7 days (it felt like sooo long) but found a 5 day that leaves Monday (stops in Progresso and Cozumel) and thought "i can do this"

Just wanted to pop in and say hello. Surgery was yesterday. I went home last night. And I'm in pain. It hurts to sit down, stand up, or otherwise move around. Hoping the pain will get better over the next few days.

Corinna - I'm glad your'e home safe and hope the pain eases soon - did they give you any idea when you can expect to feel an improvement?

PerriP - I hope you have a fabulous time, you'll have to post some pics, I have no idea where those places are! (And your phone must be programmed to recognise Pokemon characters!).

Fifi - I cannot begin to imagine working all those hours, not surprising your sleep pattern's wonky. Definitely deserve to spoil yourself!

I am going to try

I have watched videos the past 5 mornings and keep trying my hardest to avoid statements like

Rap is dead (with few exceptions).

I don't want it to be so, but I keep hearing the most mundane songs.

2/c and some 3A. Modified CG.
Protein sensitive
Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Conditioners: Curl Junkie Beauticurls Strengthening Conditioner,
Deep condish: Curl Junkie Curl Rehab
Stylers: Mix Curls in a Bottle into everything for shine. Terrible pj
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.
Every day is a gift
Just discovered this thread, so cool.

I don't think that I want to have children and I'm totally ok with that.

It's an entirely personal decision, MissK971. Being a parent isn't for everyone (I don't have any, by choice.)
Okay, I tried. I really did. I was willing to step outside my comfort zone, but you always ask for too much. So now the cycle will continue, and that's just sad and stupid.

Oh, and by the way, I climbed up on a tall ladder to clean my gutters a week after falling because you said X's "time was at a premium" and he wasn't able to assist me just by holding the darned thing. He's 18. I think he could have spared a few hours.

You drive me effing crazy.
we had an end of the school year celebration at work - hot dogs and chips
as I do not eat meat, this has resulted in plate after plate of chips and guacamole

part of me is too stuffed to move
the other part of me is thinking "I wonder how much guac is left"

I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one who think like this, claudine191.

It's been a long time since I feel like I want to do something great in my life, that may seems strange but I want to be a leader. No matter where I'll do (work), I want to be a leader.
Was looking for reviews of an Avon product the other day and came across a comment about their animal testing, I never knew they did that. Guess I won't be bothering looking through their catalogues again.
I then got sidetracked onto the Paula's Choice and Peta websites to see who else I could be surprised by, was very dismayed to find out that most of my make-up (I don't have or use a lot) is made by companies who do animal testing.
Mightily annoyed.

I just saw a bumper sticker that read "Vaginatarian."

A few hours later one of my other friends started to tell us she saw the same truck by her work place 1.5 hrs away.
I am sitting here watching the news and I can't stop thinking about Brody from Homeland. I'm glad the family has their son back, though.
No shampoo, no hair pins, no heat, no puffs... Just buns.

Almost MBL
Awww. I just saw the most beautiful pictures of my friends, sons, wedding. He and his partner of 18 years got custody of a brother and sister who were placed in their care years ago. They were homeless, the mother was drug dependent and they needed a stable environment. My friends are both ordained ministers. One is the official pastor at a Lutheran Church, and the other is heavily involved with parts of a few different faiths. It was so sweet to see both those guys in their robes officiating the ceremony for their son and his bride. They were beaming.
