Oh jeez. Talking about Beauty and the Beast in another thread made me flash back to watching the BFFs oldest niece playing Princess. Her grandmother was pulling out the Christmas decorations and she had 2 plastic Nutcrackers that light up and go on the lawn. His niece was about 4 and the Nutcrackers (which were bigger than her) were 2 Princes that she was having secret romances with. She was caught kissing one, and she killed the other.

And they lived happily ever after ...

I seem like I'm on a Disney kick. I have watched The Jungle Book, Frozen and The Little Mermaid in a week or so. I was just reading over the Frozen reviews again and laughing. So many snotty people screaming about how the music and story from their childhood Disney movies (lots of mentions for The Lion King, Mulan, Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid) were so much better than this garbage. Also arguments over which Princess is the most feminist. Just review it, or don't. I'm not going to. All I could say was meh, it was okay. And that's all I could say about Mulan and Pocahontas too. I never had the urge to re watch them, and when it comes to music I have to give my vote to classics made years before I was born, and that I never had on VHS as a child, but yet I know every song.

Interesting fact: Gen X is the only generation, since Disney started putting out movies, that did not have a Princess movie made during the demographic of their youth. Nothing Princess from 1960-1989. I was ending 8th grade and going into HS when The Little Mermaid came out. We had The Black Cauldron, Pete's Dragon, The Aristocats, The Rescuers, 101 Dalmatians, Robin Hood and The Fox and the Hound. *And maybe The Jungle Book. I'll claim it. They re released it, in theaters, the 80's. 1961 and that or 64 is when Gen X starts.

No! Wait! Scratch that. Jungle Book was 67 so it was made during that demographic. Oldest members of X would have been 6 or 3, depending on what dates you go by. 101 Dalmatians was 61. * The Sword in the Stone was 63. I know copies of that movie, from video stores, were worn out.

I am SO hungry. Have to fast today for med. test tomorrow and have to drink vile prep stuff tonight.

Oh well, I have been through a lot worse. Reminds me what really hungry feels like and that eating is such great fun!

Tomorrow will eat everything I want. That includes fried chicken, pizza and ice cream.

You are so obscene and obnoxious. I hate being in your presence.

And to you: stop trying to make me get closer to him. You're lucky I didn't get back in my car and drive back home.

How does someone forget they left their toddler in the car for 7 hours? I do not get that, and I'm sorry but the "advocacy groups" can piss off with their notion that he should not be charged for murder. Yes, the grieving family is going through a lot and I'll have to take their word on it when they say most people do this by accident. In my experience, and I do have experience with this matter, that is not always so.

I am really worried I am going through a new change altogether, but that doesn't excuse your hostility towards me. It makes me feel even further from normal.

I wonder if I would get in trouble for clubbing our more recent (no longer new) employees over the head. Maybe not. They still will not use a pen and paper to take notes so they can wrote a more coherent call description. They are still being complained about because of this and now both can not stop screwing with the computer control panel. They sit at the same station as me and every time I come in after them I have to fix the most unnecessary mess. Needed icons are missing, sounds are changed or turned down to a whisper (and they are needed for notifications), some programs have had to be reinstalled. Folders are created when they should not be. Icons are added that are just a few lines of code. The twerp dumb as*es need to stop doing what they should not and actually manage to do what they are supposed to do.

'I thinked about - that was really - that was really her being bad. She's not a good babysitter,' Abby told KCPQ.

GMA showed this story a few min ago and the little girl told the police that the men who robbed her house had "peach skin". Just like her box of crayons, I am sure. You have to love 4 year olds.

Stupid teenagers... Not so much.

It rained like mad, but no tornado near me. Scrills, how about you?

Thanks, Rou.

Speaking of sewing machines, I actually pulled it out and made a blanket for a baby shower I am going to this weekend. I am so excited! I love the fabric I found (Pins and Needles on Mayfield). But I wish they would pick a name so that I could embroider it.
Blah. I could take a nap. I have had to worst sinus pressure and pain hit the last 2 afternoons. I just want to lay my head down but I can't. I will be glad when I can go home, shower; and sleep.

There is a woman who works in the court system who is an advocate and translator for people who do not speak english (i am sure she has an official title but I have no clue what it is) and I am wondering if she is just having a slow day or if she is trying to pick up men. She has been in the same spot outside, smoking, and talking to guys (no translation needed) for 5 hours.

I think they come here simply to make our lives miserable. "What do you mean someone shooting at a target in their yard is legal!?!? How can this possibly be legal you stupid hick?" If only I could say what I wanted. What idiot lives in a country where guns are legal and thinks safely done target practice, in a more rural area, outside of city limits is illegal.
