It figures that my three day weekend starts with a power outage. Lost power 8pm last night and power company estimates it won't be back on until around 4pm. They have to wait for the flooding in my complex to recede.

I just got home from the salon and I love my Deva Cut! I didn't do anything drastic. Had the dead ends cut off, she shaped it up nicely and I requested more layers which lightened my load. She did a really good job on the cut, the cleansing but she needs more styling training. She had her hands all in my hair and tried to diffuse on high. Nooo. I think she is relatively new at it and I'll be more than glad to show her how to style my hair. I just wanted to see how she did it the first time. I never expect miracles in that aspect anyway. I'm never happy with someone else's styling.

@sKorpio you should have told him in all seriousness all dogs are descendants of African Wild dogs who spread around the world just like humans. (Though if you like me you would have started laughing half way through as the dog part isn't true.)

In other news I've just done a run in the rain and I feel great. The rain was suppose to be heavy but it wasn't.

This is only the second time I've seen the complex flooded so badly, and the last time was following a hurricane. The water has receded significantly, but right next to the pond is still not passable.
