Sorry to hear about your back Corrina, very frustrating (and painful) for you. Just be brave and call your surgeon, the sooner he can see you the better I would think.
Take care.

I need to figure out what I am wearing this weekend. I have not a clue.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

With very few exceptions, I avoid posting inflammatory/polarizing/controversial stuff on Facebook out of respect for "friends" who may not share my point of view. The only exception I make is for well written articles, and this is a rare exception. I can't stand when other people can't have the same sort of respect. Derogatory memes and statements (without any actual references or resources to back them up) only further add to the already seriously broken down discourse between people, and honestly makes me question who I really want to be friends with.
Rant over.

Out of all the people who yell/scream when they talk, the ones who talk relatively loud and then scream at the end of the every sentence while raising the pitch of their voice might be the most ear piercing. Okay, I thought I would let you KNOW WHY! I'm actually not having a breakdown even thought IT SOUNDS LIKE I AM.

****************

My friend really has to stop talking to his confused ex. They had their big blow out, were not going to talk again, had to meet and exchange some stuff, that went fairly well so the ex mentioned maybe getting lunch at some point. Of course when my friend texted him about it as his ex suggested, he ignored him. Then he sent a text 2 days later saying, "I can't deal with you". I don't know why my friend tries. His ex can not even deal with the day to day let alone know his own mind or own sexuality. What makes you think he can work you in? Not that my friend is in much better shape. Apparently the situation blew up from there and they both spiraled into a very immature fit of rage that involved threats of false police reports and ended with my friend calling the ex's former landlords and telling them where his ex is now living so they can reissue their subpoena for the $1000 he skipped out of town without paying them.

Are you 12 or 40? He really has stop dating these 20 year olds. It just gets worse.

I spent a little too much on a birthday present for a friend, but can one really feel regretful about doing something small and sweet for someone likable?

Just finished ordering textbooks for my courses this semester. They added up to about $400, and that's with browsing the web for deals. Private college in the US blows. Way too expensive.
Mix of many types, but I'll say 3B
Fine thickness, medium density, mixed porosity
WL wet
Currently transitioning from heat damage and relaxers

Still figuring my hair out
Noticed a I suspicious yellow spot on my carpet by the front door, bothered me that fin had an accident so put him in pants for tonight. We just got up for a snack. After he munched I thought, "I should take you out" just as he squatted by the door.

He had a random accident a few months ago but then wore his pants for the next week and was fine. Two in a row has me awake and worried at 1am. I'll just go in late to work and drop off a urine sample at the vet on my way. They can call me and let me know if something is going on. Even with this very logical plan I'm still awake and worrying.

you know what they say about the best laid plans...
someone had performance anxiety and would NOT give me a urine sample this morning - so I'm taking him in at 5. Hoping to get out of work a bit early, get the sample there and have the lab process it before the 5pm appt. They are pretty good that if I don't actually HAVE to see the vet, they don't charge you for the office visit (at least not the "vet level" of office visit). Hoping it's just that he's been so tired the past couple of days (spending all day at my mom and dad's with the other two dogs) that on our night-night wee wee walk, he's just been too tired to go completely.

I'm sure it will be fine, I'm just a very reactive mom (esp with our "caution" re: cushings disease with him). The first day of school is monday and I MUST be here all day for that, so if this continues through the weekend, there is no way I could take him monday - if this were earlier in the week, I'd give it a little more time to see if it's just an anomaly - but we are heading into the weekend. I mean, in the world of things going wrong, my little guy wetting his pants isn't HUGE
