PerriP., I'm half-serious about nominating you for an advice column here. Would you be unhappy if I did so? I think Fin should be involved as well.

Random: I noticed on the shelter fb page that they actually have a volunteer named Perri. That's not me should anyone happen across it.

Power charges here are beyond ridiculous.

Still no pain meds tonight. Fortunately, I recognized that being on Percocet feels like a strong wine buzz, so I stocked up on wine...

I have the worst postman ever.

1) One day my neighbor came over to give me some packages. The postman picked them up from my house and left them under a tree in her yard. She found them there and returned

2) One time I had packages out and he just left them there. When I tried to give them to him, the response was "oh, I thought someone had delivered those to you". Um, there were all USPS mail packaging. That means YOU would have been the person to deliver them.

3) Today I had to go to the post office. I had registered mail. I signed the slip and left it for the postmail so that the package could be delivered. Nope. He just stuck it back in my mailbox so I still had to get the package.

On one hand, as someone who spends at least $200-250 a week on postage, it's very frustrating. On the other hand, I guess I should be happy that so many of my packages actually make it to their destination, LOL
I am ready to go shopping but I can not just yet. Family, family, family. I have seen them more in the past two days than I have in a year.

I just submitted a question to the webiste "Yo, is this racist?". I hope it gets posted, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sitting in a very crowded doctor's office. It's my rheumatologist. A couple just came in. The husband totally took over. Checked the wife in, while berating the office staff "how was I suppose to know you were on the third floor? The sign downstairs said room 325. Where is that? Who knows that means the third floor? You need to remedy that". Then "why do you need her I D? She's on my insurance.

Now he's filling out all of the forms for her, including where you have to rate your pain in each joint over the last week.

She seems completely fine with this.

I'm not okay with it!
