Please, I ask for your prayers.
This time, just for me.
I can t go on anymore.

My father had his left foot toes amputated a few days ago. Then he had a heart attack. Then something done to restore circulation to his feet. He s apparently doing well.
My mom has dementia, but she seems "happy".
My aunt lost her vision because of macular degeneration and she is very, VERY bitter.
88, 84 and 86 yo.

I take care of the three of them. With the "help" from my 2 siblings.

I can t go any more. I really hope I wouldn t live so long.

Please send prayers, good vibes.

Thank you so much.

Mexico City.
That sounds like a heavy burden indeed.
The worst thing about old age is the body breaking down well before death.
It sounds like the support networks you have are not enough for you. Certainly keeping as much in the way of support is key for your state of mind. If you are depressed you NEED four things, counselling/therapy, medication to change the brain chemistry, change of circumstances and time.
I cannot offer these things to you. Neither can the ladies here. What we can offer is a supportive ear, but we cannot take away your burdens or your pain or do any of the 4 things I mentioned.
Please for your own sake look to get the support you need and be proactive, even if you are convinced it will not matter and that your life is doomed.
You implied you are religious. I am not. Whilst I will not pray for you, you are in my thoughts. I think maybe if you can look to your religious denomination for spiritual consolation and possible physical support it may also alleviate the burden.
Be gentle on yourself.

Big hugs to you. Please find some support where you are, there may be groups available. Having others who are going through the same thing will help immensely. Also know that we're here. I'll add you and your family to my prayers.

i have to go to work today and tell the managers that Evil Coworker has been a beyotch on wheels all summer and that she continually flouts the work agreement that they made her sign.

*sigh*

fortunately, i engaged in some pre-emptive retail therapy last night and scored a GORGEOUS black and brown Kenzie purse in a vintage doctor-bag style AND a layered georgette blouse in the most perfect shade of peacock blue around (at The Bay for any Canadians reading this). the purse was 30% off the lowest ticketed price and the top was 40% off the lowest ticketed price - both in the clearance section.

then i found out that i got another 25% off for using my HBC Mastercard!

i didn't even spend $60, including tax, for BOTH of them!!

Also, I don't know what religion you are, but perhaps there are some "church ladies" that will volunteer to sit with your parents and Aunt for an hour or so once or twice a week? Just so you can get out of the house and breathe.
((((Maria)))) You are in my thoughts and prayers. Being a care taker for one is hard enough. It is perfectly understandable that you feel like you are going under with 3. That takes an incredible amount of strength. Don't forget you have that, even when it feels depleted.

Hello sweetie, can you take a break from all that? Whatever works for you. A trip to your church to talk to someone there, a visit with a friend, a movie, anything that is enjoyable for you?

I'm so very sorry you are going through this. We are here and ready to listen any time. You are such a kind, gentle person. I wish I could help.

Finlay ate his breakfast!

With the antibiotics he's on, he's been a very reluctant eater (which then aggravates his irritable bowel). I haven't been worried, just concerned (he can afford to lose weight and we only have one more week of them and he does have an appetite - no problem eating a pb sandwich, just refusing his food)

Very happy to see an empty dish when I got home today.

I have tried every single solution for removing a scuff mark from patent leather, to no avail.

You've probably tried this but if not:

Step One rub with vaseline

Step Two spray with Windex

If that doesn't work - maybe a store which mends shoes could help?

I'm so sorry you're going through all that maria. It's way too much for one person to deal with, is there any way at all you can get your siblings to contribute more? Surely they can see how hard it is for you.
I'll keep you in my thoughts, take care of yourself (((maria))).

I just got really mad at someone (and then this entire judgey diatribe appeared in my head and it was not nice - about that person). I have no idea why what she said set me off, because it was a perfectly okay thing to say.

Interesting.
