Claude is sick. It started this morning, and got worse throughout the day. Now, after cleaning up, I'm really worried.

This dog kept me going when nothing else could. Knowing no one else would care for him, and that I'd never see him again if I kept smoking, and not eating. So I stopped smoking, and started eating again. He was always near me, no matter what I did: working, cleaning, reading, sobbing.

He sleeps beside me every night, some part of him touching me, no matter what. I feel like my heart would burst like an over-filled balloon without him.

The in-laws are very nice, honestly. They're generous and so good with the kiddos. It's just that every minor little incident turns into a major to-do with them. It's exhausting after a while.

I believe so.

The funny part is that when DH and his sister get around their parents, they, too, get sucked into the drama. Normally, they're pretty drama-free; however, the whole family gets so caught up in trying to keep each other happy that they all stress each other out. They can't just relax and enjoy each other's company. They all have to be doing something all the time, then they fret that someone's not having a good time, even when there's no reason to think so. This, of course, leads to them NOT having a good time because they're all so worried and stressed. It's bizzare to me.
