I hate when people use acronyms and abbreviations in product listings and routine explanations. I don't know every curly brand and all their products, so when you reference things as CJCCC and ABCDE, I don't know what the hell you're talking about. I know lots of board members use acronyms in their signatures, so I'm probably offending loads of people. But is it really that hard to type out? It's much more helpful to EVERYONE that way.

And yeah I know there's a pretty helpful and comprehensive list here in the boards, but I wish I didn't have to bookmark it and look back at it every 5 seconds to know what someone is talking about. And some things aren't on the list because people will find a way to shorten damn near anything.

Sigh. What a great idea for a thread!

I use acronyms but I also understand how it's annoying. Especially when it's long or has a lot of the same letters (CJCCC, GTTT).

Sometimes I think people will start abbreviating full sentences (SITPWSAS - like that, lol.)

- I've been out of a job for over a month now and I still haven't gotten a call back from any of the places I applied to and to top it off, as of last thursday, I am officially out of money. I just had to beg my parents for the last bit of money to cover my summer tuition.

I hope I get called in for an interview.

-I was suppose to go to a nursing seminar presented by the local 4 year university but wound up getting violently ill and missed it. *double sigh* I wonder if they'll have leftover info packets on the front desk.

-naps and cherry flavored aspirin make everything better.

Oh thank you for understanding, Residual! People already do abbreviate full sentences lol. I've seen it somewhere. I was like O_O.
And people even abbreviate usernames in their replies to the user. What would yours be? "R," right? And would I be "SS?"

My brother's ex-law partner just got indicted in New York state as a felon, for defrauding stockholders, among other things. His charges are Classes B & E, which mean prison.

My brother's nose is squeaky clean, but ISHT! This had better not rub off on him, or I'll wring that guy's neck myself.

And, because it's too terrible to say it to him, I'll say it here: I WARNED HIM! I warned him years ago that the guy was no good! Why didn't he listen to me??? (I know why --- because he's Mr. Know It All Bossy Attorney Older Brother and I'm just his goofball eccentric younger sister. But I was right!)

I think reality have been a b*tch to you in the past, so I understand to an extent. But you know...reality has and always will have the potential be a big ol b*tch. Oh, thanks moodydove. I think he's better (fingers crossed). I'm keeping a close eye on him; one more episode and it's off to the vet, his least favorite place in the world (he trembles terribly and hides).

Also, who in the world demands three cute texts per day?

I would just like to add that not only has my morning included finding an SEO reputation management firm for my brother, but also: chasing one of my cats through the yard in my sock monkey pyjamas, threatening her with a rake to make her let go of her intended victim, a cute, innocent chipmunk (the guts of victim #1 are still festering by one of my trees, much to the delight of my dogs); AND, discovering a monster pimple right above my lip, said zit of which is hideous both in size and color.
