The only thing I don't like to do is mop because the smell really bothers me, but I do it if I have to. Doing dishes sucks only because my hands are dry by the end of it but I don't mind it so much.

Try a pair of rubber gloves for washing dishes. My favorite gloves are the white nyplex type from Mr. Clean. I always wear gloves when doing either one dish or a sink full of dishes.

I don't know why the smell bothers me, most cleaners do (especially laundry detergents, which is why I bought a free one.) I try to get my mom to buy more natural cleaners or unscented one but she doesn't think it will work as well. My mom is just so stuck in her ways. I just don't let her use it in my room. But the smell overpowers me quickly anyways.

So I spoke to a girl in the nursing program at school today and she told me she didn't get into any of the 10 schools she applied to the first time around.
She waited an entire year before getting accepted .
Oi vey!
I really hope none of the schools I apply to adopt the nursing lottery policy.

I feel you, baby. Unless it's an agency, it's 50% upfront.

I'm sorry you're going through this.

The other one was because even though I painstakingly spelled out my address, the client then abbreviated it, which always throws the USPS off and so the check took several more days to arrive than it should have. The address is Street Name Crescent, and they made it Street Name Cir., which is an actual street in the same town.

Idiots. Why would I write "Crescent" unless I meant it? It's not like I smoke a joint and then do my invoicing.

The good news is I found out that one client can do ACH/EFT transactions now, so I'll be doing those from now on. And babysitting my agency reps even more than I already do. [What do they do all day?]

Although — as you very well know — I'm just happy to have the work!

Shop for makeup & shoes on your period, not clothes. I know in my case, I gain 5-10 pounds of bloatiness and clothing fit is not to be trusted!

Hang in there, you are a lovely young woman.

Random PSA: Mucinex works really well for nasal congestion, too. Much better than the usual drying antihistamines, which stop working after a couple of days anyway.

After nothing else gave me any relief, including my neti pot, I experimented with the Mucinex because I asked myself: nasal mucus, bronchial mucus...does the Mucinex really know the diff? Worked like a charm.

I haven't had a period in nearly 4 years! Take that, Mother Nature. here's your gift back.
I LOVE mucinex. Only thing that really helped my chronic sinus infections (the antibiotics drained my sinuses--into my lungs, and it turned into bronchitis).

I seriously feel like people think I am naive just because my age. Yes I have a lot of growing to do but when you're 5 years older than me quit the crap, you aren't that wise either.
