ninja - I was like "Why is my drying time making her feel so bad?! " LMAO

Speckla - Thanks! It's not so bad anymore now that I am air drying, and I am trying to get 2 more days out of it. I'll take the chocolate bar but I don't think I can wear that on my head.

My hair takes so long to dry! I don't diffuse or plop because of frizz and I know air drying gives me better results but damn... I finished styling around 1. On a day like today (dew point around 67 and humidity around 74) I can plan to be wet until maybe 6. I don't care how 2nd day hair looks, I'll put it in a ponytail if I need to just so I don't have to wash. Same with 3rd day hair. I am trying not to look at my hair too much because the fly away I get with wet hair really bothers me.

End rant.

To anyone that know what I'm talking about/cares..

My guild downed the Lich King last night in 25 man (we've down him w/several groups in 10 man)! Woot I'm excited even though I didn't get any of the juicy loot that dropped. Heroic mode here we come.

I just saw someone wearing those scam shoes that are supposed to make you burn more calories while walking because they have weird soles. They were just like Sketchers Shape Ups, but a different brand.

A few days ago, I saw a man with visible brief lines. He wasn't a perv or anything. He was a young guy wearing business slacks.
I hate summer. It's only June and it's already in the high 90s/low 100s. Crap.

Mascara would probably work just as well. But I'd want separate mascara for my eyebrows and eyelashes anyway, since the wand would pick up skin and sweat from my forehead.

Two things!

1. I bought a pair of cute Crocs, and I love them! They're slightly big because the next size down was too small. So it's a little frustrating, but they're still comfy, and it's actually kinda hard to tell that they're Crocs unless you actually look closely.

2. I'm OFFICIALLY ready for the midnight showing of Eclipse, thanks to my friend picking up a Team Jacob t-shirt for me! 23 days!

I agree with RCC on powder. It makes for a fuller look. I should use it, but I'm lazy (and I let my bangs grow long to cover my brows, too).

Eyebrows don't show "roots" like head hair does.

The best dye to use is a "deposit only" dye, without peroxide or bleach. www.robertcraig.com is awesome. It comes as a powder, so you can mix up a tiny amount just for your brows. One box costs $9.99 and lasts for months and months and never goes bad.

So, my hard drive crashed Saturday night, despite the efforts of my techie friend and my 85 year old repairman and I working on removing a stuck disk. I then spent about six hours total at the nearest Apple store, pleading for the fastest data transfer they can manage so I can meet my deadlines, and spending $ I don't have. Naturally, this was the ideal time for a fight with my brother and Ms. High Horse (SIL), so of course, we had one. Best line (spoken by brother): "I'm pulling into the grocery store parking lot. I can't talk to you anymore." Because you know, hey, parking lots have feelings too, and don't like to be ignored.

Ugh-ity-Ugh-Ugh.

I felt so bad I went to my godmother, unnanounced, after a decade's silence. She came right through for me, even as she held me and I cried and hiccupped and commented on how odd it feels to have four breasts pressed together in a hug.(Thank you, B. I love you.)

Anyway, now I have a working machine (but why no spellcheck on NC.com?), they treated me like a Queen at Apple (almost without exception), and the guys that helped me were suuuuuuuuuper cute. Cougar cute. Meow.

But I bought a pack of smokes. I caved.
