Turtles: omg please don't put that in your moo moo

Nej: too late... moo moo has been infiltrated.
I was listening to September Girls (by the tattle tales, you should go listen to it and be happy), and think that being called a september girl would be very sweet.

However, I think I am a cold winter heart.

I would like to be a september girl.
ugh, quite bugging me so much. just cause I'm here doesn't mean I want to spend all my time with you, geez. get a life, mmkay?

Gawd!

Will you please grow back in already? Haven't I suffered enough for last week's shaving debacle? I feel like a guy, with my hand always at my equipment.

The itching! The terrible, terrible itching!
Today's rants, brought to you by a rainy, gloomy day:
-I need new sports bras, and it looks like I may have to order $40-50 bras online instead of my beloved $12 Target sports bras that no longer fit.

-My dissertation topic is depressing depressing depressing. Why couldn't I have picked something more fun? I don't want to read about Vietnam anymore!

-I wanted to swim outside today, but it's 57 degrees and raining, so that's not happening.

-Passport photos are evil. Am I really that goofy looking?

-Waiting is killlllllllling me!
I didn't make it into the Honors Program. Of course not! This kind of stuff ALWAYS happens to me. They said my application was outstanding, as are my grades, my essay, and my teacher recommendation. But, there was a 2 person waiting list... And I was on it. I finally found out today, after months of agonizing waiting, that I didn't get in. The good news, I guess, is that I can still take a few honors level courses if I want to, and they still want me to go on the trip to Spain in the spring.

So, I get some of the optional perks, but none of the important stuff.

"And death is at your doorstep
And it will steal your innocence
But it will not steal your substance
But you are not alone in this"

“My ability to turn good news into anxiety is rivaled only by my ability to turn anxiety into chin acne.” - Tina Fey
Ugh, I hate going to work on Tuesdays. Two people I get along with are off. Another doesn't get in until 6. I have to put up with all the jerks.
The neighbors are being evicted today! Right now, in fact! I've been bummed out all morning for some mysterious reason, but suddenly there's a spring in my step and a song in my shriveled black heart.

You are so nice!

Too bad ad agencies aren't.

In fairness, they ask for the impossible because they're asked themselves for the impossible (which is a word I always want to change to "Kimpossible" now). So, while they're demanding and scary, they're also under extreme pressure themselves.

However, I may not be so understanding, depending on the feedback I receive. That's why the 70s bedspread and blue touchtone phone I bought for $3 total (yep, at the dreaded thrift store) are going to have to make me happy! Oh, and I got a little brass bunny for 50 cents. (It has not lost weight lately.)
I just ordered my first flexi8 (mini) I'm excited!!

TRBL! It was 50 cent joke, silly! You know, the musician? The one who lost all that weight for a movie role?

Enjoy your flexi8; you should celebrate.
But don't inebriate, unless you're uncelibate.
Heh, I'm so outta the loop

Since I'm not celibate does that mean I can have a beer tonight? Or do I need to wait until it arrives to celebrate?

Oh, drink to high heaven. I would.
Finally. My hair looks decent. Back to how I used to style it.

I really, really miss my boyfriend. I hate when the academic year ends because he always ships off to California to be with his family until the end of August, while I'm stuck over here in NJ.

Usually I can make it out there to see him, but this summer I've deemed it damn near impossible. My dad's going to Florida until June 22 to visit my grandma and brother, so I need to stay home to take care of the dogs. Then I have an internship through July and into August, so I can't very well leave then.

I was planning on having a second job to make money, but none of the 15 positions I've applied for have really panned out. So now I'm tempted to just say "Eff it" and fly out to see him in the 11-day window I have between dad's return from Florida and the start of my internship. But $550 is a lot of money, and I know no matter how much finagling I do with my meager savings and my flier miles, I just won't be able to make it happen anyway.

Bleghhhhhh.
