Say It. I Dare You.

My neighborhood looks like Godzilla stomped through it, ripping up trees and downing wires. The storm lasted only about 30 minutes yesterday afternoon, but it destroyed my town...rooves off, bridges out, flash flooding. It looks like a freaking hurricane came through. Yesterday's weather forecast said we had a "2% chance of rain". Oy...

Oh, Phoenix, I never get mad at you.

I think your choice is funny, and I'm going to use it. Thanks!

I like number 1 best, too. I think it gives the best view of your face

What are you choosing pictures for?
Just a profile picture, I haven't taken one I liked in awhile but today was a good day so I took some and liked them. Thanks all!

Nynaeve, he is sooooo cutee!!

RCW, was it a tornado? I've been through a couple of those, and it was absolute hell. No power for nearly 2 weeks, in the dead of summer. It was over 100 degrees, and 90% humidity or higher. Terrible, terrible, horrible, time....

My power is back on now. I'm very relieved.
I'll excuse you a TINY bit, because of the fact that the media loves cramming it's pre-packaged ideals of what is 'beautiful' down your throat... but i have one thing to say: if you want to call me ugly because of my HAIR, $%#^ off!

In my opinion, curly hair is worlds sexier than some dull, lifeless straw-straight mop. I love my ringlets and my volume! Long gone are the days that I slave away with the flat iron.

It almost seems like the 'fashion' is to have pin-straight hair. WHY?

Or, even to take someone who has pin straight hair and add loose waves to it -- seemingly, what every carbon copied Hollywood actress wears to the red carpet like it's the beacon of socially constructed beauty.

That's just time consuming and no REAL woman honestly looks like that every day, unless she's high maintenance as #$@& and spends over an hour on her hair.... who wants to do that?

What people don't seem to realize is how attractive curly hair actually can be.

So, next time you make some rude comment because you're ignorant, take your head out of your ass. Thanks.
type 3a/b, baby fine to medium, normal to high porosity except the canopy which is high.

recently chopped off about 4" - HOW LIBERATING!!! Learning to love my hair again instead of hating it for being a knotty mess.

The fact that she called my hair that crap just proves how intimidated she is.

The dumb broad has curly hair that she straightens!

Ugh. I hate you and the people you have decided to keep close.

Mix of 3s, thick, coarse, medium porosity

Current hair styling technique: rake with a scrunch at the end. (works with my coarse hair)

Why do people donate clothing that belongs in the trash? People in need don't deserve nice clothes, they feel good about what they're doing and saved a trash run? or they just don't really care and just want to clear out closet and dresser space?

I am sorting through stuff I'm getting ready to take to an abused lady's shelter dropoff and some of this stuff is disgusting. Ripped, stained, and not even good enough for cleaning rags. Everyone knows I collect stuff and have been bringing me bags...should have prechecked and brought the unusable stuff back to them...
