Thanks. no recital for a few months. I'm weird I don't get performance anxiety for concerts. Zero, zilch nadda. It doesn't bother me at all. But. . . you ask me to play in front of 1 person and my nerves are shot, especially if their opinion matters to me.
Tonight is my first private lesson in like 3 months. My teacher, she's old school russian, very strict and a perfectionist. I work very hard to live up to her expectations. While she was gone on vacation, I worked extra hard to wow her when she comes back. So I've got some nervous excitement going on.

I think my future has arrived. It's scarier than I thought it would be, but I'm mostly excited. It doesn't feel real yet, though, and I'm sad it's time to tell my present goodbye. But so many little things had to happen to get me here that it's hard to think this is anything other than meant to be.
So much to do in so little time ...

Yes, a good date. Scary as in "Oh my god, I can't believe I feel this way" and "I'm so bad at relationships but I don't want to blow this one" good.

Montezumas Revenge is my favorite ride there.
And Boomerang. Even though I regret getting on every time I ride it.  I get all scrunched up in my seat where I'm not even sitting in the seat. I'm holding myself against the chest harness.

So I did hear what I thought I did, at least in part. As I've mentioned before (10 bajillion times) I have co-worker that loves to make my life miserable. I have another co-worker that has been here for over 25 years and just feels entitled. On a day that I will have to be here at 5:30am (I usually work 8-5), and am incredibly busy for for the first half of the day, at least one of them (the older one) will be gone. I think the evil one is also planning on being out, but hasn't said anything to me (and she won't until the day before I'm sure).
So now I'm feeling pissy (and not pissed as in drunk).
I always feel like a two year old when I complain, I'm sorry.

boomerang scares me SO MUCH! Generally I love rollercoasters, but not when they go in ways they shouldn't. (namely, in freaking NINETY DEGREE ANGLES, and backward.)
and I haven't been in so long! I miss knotts and it's cheerful little kid rides!
