I'm terrified of going to grad school. The idea of studying/working doesn't scare me, neither does the idea of living on campus, I mean already did that in undergrad. What scares me is the idea of moving to a new country where I know no one. While this is similar to my having moved to Japan, I at least had time during orientation to meet some of the other people who would be coming on the programme, and we travelled as one big group, so it's not like I was alone. I'm also scared because I have no idea how I'm going to pay for this. $25,000 is a lot of money. It's a good thing I decided to defer so I can have a year to sort out all this madness. I just feel like I am going to have a mini panic attack whenever I think about it.

I'm laughing here too at how many people thought it was my cat! LOL! And then getting a chuckle at how that must've come across when I was more concerned about losing a lovely earring than the health of my cat!
My CAR really did eat my earring. I have no other explanation. The earring in question is not a small earring, and it vanished into thin air. Poof!

Lmao!! That would be semi-entertaining but no. This app is called spread snooki, you can add her to your pics (if u have the iphone), add her head to a picture of yours etc. Lame but eh I bet lots of people will fork over the 99 cents.

Wait --- you mean it doesn't remake me in her image (i.e., tan and bosomy)?
Forget it.

Hmmm. Odd moment. Argument with mother in shop over buying a coffee.
She came home with a bottle of wine as an apology.
This has never happened before.

I've just used a hair colour remover to get the goth darkness out of my hair and I am now gingery. My poor hair, it's been through so much in the last week.

Very strange call.
Very strange. I haven't talked to that guy in a LONG time! The old co-worker. The old break partner.

My gym was really good and then the new guy bought it and all hell broke loose. Now the gym staff are being made redundant if they don't work there as personal trainers and pay the place £500 a month for the privilege. I've cancelled my gym membership. The people loosing their jobs are also my friends. This blows.

Am I the only person in the world that doesn't even know what ipods/iphones/Blackberries/etc. are? How can you keep up with all of it? I have a cell phone and I keep it turned off 90% of the time. Why people pay so much for that stuff is beyond me and then oops! I dropped it in the toilet or left it on the bus. I have enough phone calls and gadgets in my face at work to deal with so why would I pay money to have my own?

OMG! That hair!
At a few office jobs I had, I used to cut out those "Find your Old Classmates" pics and tape them over my i.d. pic on my badge. Needless to say, I was not in favor for doing so.
