Gaps between your teeth can be heriditary. And yes, SOMETIMES they can be fixed. But sometimes they can't.

I have a close friend who has a large gap between his front teeth. He has been to several dentists and orthodontists. Braces won't fix it because they said that the teeth will go right back to where they are. Crowns on his front teeth won't fix it because they would be so wide it wouldn't look natural and would be worse than the gap.

So just because someone has a physical "problem" and isn't changing it, it doesn't necessarily mean they are lazy. It could be that the problem can't be fixed, they don't have the money to fix it, they don't see it as a problem, or countless other reasons.

Edited to add: I don't understand why when someone doesn't like someone or is mad at them, they have to start pointing out physical faults.

Peppy - My husband has a hereditary gap between his teeth and I love it. It wouldn't be him without it!

I didn't tell you not to reply to mine. I simply quoted what I said in the previous post which pointed out that my post was for the general public. You can respond to me all you like.

Yes, except I'm not one of those people who gets their kicks from fighting on message boards. Because everyone's "oh so scary" from behind their keyboards. I was going along with the theme of this post. Right or wrong, I made the comment about this person's teeth. In her case she's told us before she could have gotten it fixed because she never got around to it, even at the urgings of her dentist. I was angry at her in the moment, and blurted it out. I would never say something like that to her, or to anyone who knew her. I'm not dogging on anyone's husband, or friend or grandfathers dog, I'm just venting. Are we not able to vent in peace? Are you trying to make me look bad? I'm just wondering what your motivation is for replying? Though some people have posted opinions contradictory to mine, I haven't replied to them. And be truthful, you replied not to educate everyone but to make me look like a petty person. But I'm done with it, moving on...

And venting or not - the kids arent stupid. Perhaps their parents are for letting them do that. I wish someone called my kid STUPID because of some mess like that.

I think the OP didn't mean agreeing with someone as in "responding to them," rather the opposite. Just what I thought. I don't really know what the OP had in mind.
