Say It. I Dare You.

I know we're not supposed to respond to posts, so I'll just throw this out there for whoever wants to read it.

Gaps between your teeth can be heriditary. And yes, SOMETIMES they can be fixed. But sometimes they can't.

I have a close friend who has a large gap between his front teeth. He has been to several dentists and orthodontists. Braces won't fix it because they said that the teeth will go right back to where they are. Crowns on his front teeth won't fix it because they would be so wide it wouldn't look natural and would be worse than the gap.

So just because someone has a physical "problem" and isn't changing it, it doesn't necessarily mean they are lazy. It could be that the problem can't be fixed, they don't have the money to fix it, they don't see it as a problem, or countless other reasons.

Edited to add: I don't understand why when someone doesn't like someone or is mad at them, they have to start pointing out physical faults.

I haven't replied to anyone's posts, neither has anyone else, yet you somehow get to reply to mine and then tell me not to reply to yours?

Yes, except I'm not one of those people who gets their kicks from fighting on message boards. Because everyone's "oh so scary" from behind their keyboards. I was going along with the theme of this post. Right or wrong, I made the comment about this person's teeth. In her case she's told us before she could have gotten it fixed because she never got around to it, even at the urgings of her dentist. I was angry at her in the moment, and blurted it out. I would never say something like that to her, or to anyone who knew her. I'm not dogging on anyone's husband, or friend or grandfathers dog, I'm just venting. Are we not able to vent in peace? Are you trying to make me look bad? I'm just wondering what your motivation is for replying? Though some people have posted opinions contradictory to mine, I haven't replied to them. And be truthful, you replied not to educate everyone but to make me look like a petty person. But I'm done with it, moving on...

Actually I posted it to point out that there's a possibility it can't be fixed. I don't know you and have no reason to make you look petty.

Don't tell me that I'm superficial and evil for not being attracted to those guys. Don't tell me personality should be the only thing that matters. You wouldn't date those guys either and you know it. Everyone is superficial for goodness sakes.

I'm trying to relax while I shop, not listen to your kids scream and whine and roll over in front of me. Seriously, can you please control your children a little bit? You're exactly why I stopped going to Old Navy.

Don't take them into clothing stores where all the do is fight with each other and get in my way and on my nerves. And for the love of GOD, don't have them at Wal-mart AT MIDNIGHT!!!! Okay, so if I agree with someone and respond..it's not a RESPONSE. But if I DISAGREE with someone and respond, THEN it's considered a response? Just trying to get the rules straight here.

And venting or not - the kids arent stupid. Perhaps their parents are for letting them do that. I wish someone called my kid STUPID because of some mess like that.

There's the rule. Which is why in my first post I directed it to "whoever wants to read it".

Nothing in the rule about agreeing or disagreeing.

I think the OP didn't mean agreeing with someone as in "responding to them," rather the opposite. Just what I thought. I don't really know what the OP had in mind.
